I pray we get a secret dating trope where they keeping their dating a secret from all and the revelation of them dating will be a chaotic hilarious one haha..
I believe that writing was splendid so far with this show. for some questioning the angst added to the show and calling it unnecessary, I strongly object after watching this episode that It's never.
The dark backstory and Angst thrown was what shaped our characters. Our FL illness was what donated a pathway for emotions to run wild and clash while resolving these emotions amongst themselves and bringing the family stronger in the process.
On the ML side, his parents angst side of the story really helped in the development of their family dynamic leading to their fears, doubts and I believe bringing the family closer now.
I've observed the show and happy to see how these dark moments shaped the characters in My view. it doesn't only flow in a typical sunshine Friends to lovers but further explores their different family dynamics in comparison to each other.

like the scene where ML points out what she envies in FL family. Even as little as it looks. and how in earlier scene how FL father Envies ML father and all the envying going on not knowing the value of what one has (And I absolutely love the scene where FL parents had a cry out while resolving theirs as well. the scene where FL father cries it out)
Overall I love that the drama goes about friends to lovers romance alone but show us their different families that shaped them and how these families compliant eachother and blend while seeking solution to their flaws.
I don't know this was the only episode I visibly Cried. Let not heavy cry but tears Fell! Other angst ep I was like sad and going ohhh noo but with ML mother storyline DAMNN I cried
