I watched a show where in ep10 we still getting new characters lol. so it's a matter of getting used to that. because you don't even have to know them all. I myself begin recognition them at later EPs when these characters become relevant

I heard next arc should begin around 14 or so....but I don't really know when.

for the ML... it's part of the plot so he Gets better..he is already getting better so people need to watch more to stop hating on what happened in just ep1. And yeah.. Xianixia is about angst and misunderstanding and sorrow so what was shown in EP1 is not a problem.. happens always. And lot of characters is Sooooooooo normal for Historical Cdramas. Like this Character here are soooo few compared to what I've seen before

The better arcs are yet to come. with the development done and the Characters mature thing gets more intense and fun.

To all complaining that this show is boring I can only advise y'all to be patient with this show. Yeah it didn't start off with A bang and all action included but they're trying to build up something for the future most xianxia drama Start off slow with development and Became better and better! ALP had me like that too. So wait till at least ep10 and you'll see how better it gets.

Sad to break it to you But if you miss these important dialogues.. You're missing most of the shows. The dialogue are sometimes the most important part of the show. But not all.

In as Much as I love Lusi I have to disagree with you that this Opinion isn't valid. AYin isn't the Only Person holding this show. The cast are doing well. It's Unreasonable to hate a ML who basically likes another lady as If he must like the FL from ep1. If a girl likes FL, Oh she's cute. but if he does... He's dumb? Love is something you can't be pissed of about. and for his personality, Yeah. He is Immature and will grow up soon as the theme of the show is character development.
How can ML and his father be the same person? isn't that repeating the typical xianxia male lead for the one millionth time now?? Not all guy should be like that for Crying out loud. a character with flaws is more interesting to see. Besides ALP FL was basically like this until she matured. y'all to stop acting as if this drama has every flaw on earth
