Well, my thought is,If you watched the drama carefully you'd know that according to the beginning she was nagged by her fans for making a terrible and non convincing villain. So. Probably she's terrible at making convincing villain's which is why we have a not so evil ML.
The name Mr. Bad doesn't necesarily make him evil but just a pain used to potray something. the villain he is.
