Nooo damn. Haven't even started the show yet (since I wanted to be able to watch a few episodes at once), but that's exactly what I feared after the few snippets I saw. That would indeed be SUCH A HUGE WASTE OF POTENTIAL!!
I mean you could also just skip the very last episode!? But I get you, I don't do sad. But otherwise watch HIStory: Close to You. But also the first couple is GOALS like few have ever been :D the other... not so much, I skipped most of it tbh xD But LiCheng & MuRen... for real, they're IT! Their chemistry! And said 2nd couple from this show will have an amazing cameo in CtY as well <3 and: Happy Ends all around!

thank you! completely agree. I'm still surprised I watched it all and still surprised it was so successfull. I liked bits & pieces and esp. the 2nd couple, but the juvenile acting of the two "tops" was way over the top, even tho it got better later in the show. Ppl who behave like that are usually aroung 11 years old and not fit for romatic relationships xD
Btw LOVED that we saw the 2nd couple again in "Close to You" (esp since all the juvenile acting finally disappeared), even tho their part was very small. Wished they'd get their own season.

Simply happy it's not highschool or college themed, and has a special twist we definitely don't see every day (stories like KinnPorsche, Not Me or Manner of Death are way to rare).
Judging by the trailer it could still go with a bit more... or let's say less mediocre looking style!? No idea what it is, but something seems missing. Budget :D?! Like I said, no idea. But I really hope for the best! Especially for Gawin :)

I've only watched ep.6 so far and I think I already might agree. Bc that kiss was ... odd. I mean Sailom likes him. He already confessed. And ok, he might be confused for a moment. But that's the person you really like kissing you, so why do you look like you don't know him? Barely anything came from him. I'd say Kanghan seemed fine in that moment with what he could work with but... no idea. Weird kiss.
Someone said that Rui seems to have amnesia but in fact he is faking it, but when he wake up it was too late Zong…
But Zong Yi remembering would be so much "more" for the plot and the feelings the story would give. And I waaaant that :p I'd also find it odd and upsetting would Rui remember tbh, but we'd have to wait & see what they'd make out of it.
I'd really be an overkill if he seriously also has amnesia now, like some comments say. Those things aren't that common as dramas make it seem and two in a row is insane.
Also... I don't want that. It'd be SO MUCH MORE interesting and intense if knows what happened, who he loves and why he really is in jail. So him also forgetting (god even only writing about the mere idea sounds dumb) would kill half of the fun, dammit!!!
