When Dal Mi asked the truth from Ji Pyeong, he paid attention to spare Grandma of her responsibility by saying…
The same thing can be said about DS. After all that JP & DM went through and knowing the importance DM places on those letters, DS should have proposed to DM after confessing the truth. She deserved it. He should have respected her feelings. For her those letters were like light in darkness.
In a scene, JP claims that the letters have more importance than DS but DS disagrees. So, DS should have believed in himself & confessed everything to DM.
As DS's mom said it hurts the most when you have to hear the truth from a third person. He was already too late. He should have come clean the moment he realized that DM likes him.
As DM said she is now confused about who she truly loves. This could have been totally avoided. She felt betrayed as demonstrated by Saha to Chul San.
I just hope that all the misunderstandings get resolved & everyone finds a happy ending.
Completely agree with this comment that I came across :

"The most annoying thing in episodes 9 and 10 is that the writer tries to save Dosan's character who has lost to Ji Pyeong's character. Some scenes really side with Dosan. And it's an unbalanced fight for Ji Pyeong.
For example, when Jipyeong had dinner three with Dalmi and grandmother, how could Dosan suddenly wake up and be fully conscious after being so drunk? then instead Ji Pyeong was fast asleep even though he wasn't drunk at all.
Yes, Jipyeong's scene with Dalmi was indeed cut a lot by Dosan (and his friends) in the previous episode. But in these two episodes the writer really went so far as to spoil the theme of this drama itself. There is nothing about "Start Up" in these two episodes. There is only the writer trying to get rid of Ji Pyeong's character who turns out to be very strong unexpectedly, and trying to strengthen the Dosan character who is forced to develop (which should have been done in the previous episode).
I myself don't care if Dosan ends up with Dalmi. But at least the writer can make Ji Pyeong lose in a better way than this, or at least the writer doesn't break the core theme of the drama's story as was done in episodes 9 and 10.
It is very sad because all the characters and theme ideas in this drama are very good , and the actors performed their roles very well.
Hopefully in the remaining 6 episodes the story gets better even though I'm not really interested in watching more."
When Dal Mi asked the truth from Ji Pyeong, he paid attention to spare Grandma of her responsibility by saying…
"HJP telling SDM his feelings was his way of freeing himself from the lies akin to NDS admitting to his parents that he cheated. I believe that was the recurring theme for ep 9 and 10, freedom/release from the lies."

I think JP accepted the fact that DM & DS like each other. Although it doesn't seem like a big thing, not being able to confess your feelings to the person you love is one of the biggest regrets in life. It's not about being accepted. It's about being acknowledged. You just want that person to know that they hold a special place in your heart.
Imagine fans not being able to express their love towards stars as they know that they'll never end up together. JP confession was just at that level. It was definitely not a proposal.
this is a youth motivational rom-com drama... not melodrama... thats definitely not gonna happen... grandma is…
Exactly. But the writer is pushing the romance part to the spotlight & all the lines about destiny, crows, ancestors, etc are not related to a youth tech / businesses based drama.
Read this ridiculous theory on twitter about HJP's future.
Murderer 》Ex Convict 》Poor 》Saw Halmoni Blind 》Choose to donate his eyes alive 》will live outside seoul w no connection and blind 》DM will find the donor to thank him 》Found HJP wearing sunglasses 》Noongil will say there's a pretty girl in front of u 》DM will cry 》cut
He obviously said that the debt can't be paid with money but that doesn't mean that he would donate his eyes. I think even Grandma would find it absurd. Please don't do this to him. No amnesia / blindness troupe.
Is it possible that the reason NJH/NDS was and is promoted as the lead is because he's more popular than KSH?…
As far as I remember Hotelier & Queen of Reversals had SL becoming the ML at the end due to popular opinion. I heard that for QoR, they even extended the eps to develop the plot b/w FL & SL.
Not only us even the writer is portraying that NDS is full of himself , ungrateful and childish because when HJP…
Exactly. The supposedly rational & logical DS makes surprising decisions. (You love her so much that you are ready to sacrifice your career for her but expect her to deal with the initial turbulent days of running a Start Up all by herself).
Just watched the 29th ep. Really feel sad for Kim Seon Ho. He was clearly exhausted & it felt quite unfair to pass the staff's mistake on to him. His patience is almost God level. Fighting!
PS : The way Din Din is behaving in the show is quite annoying. Being selfish, arrogant & disrespectful can be overlooked sometimes but being condescending, looking down on people & labeling them with their weakness and using it to hurt them is NOT acceptable in any case.
I hope that he learns from his mistakes & would be more considerate in the future

Loved this analogy.

Also the scene where JP piggybacks drunken DS vs DS pushing away an adorable, sleeping JP.
DS is aware of the fact that JP is alone (and always eats alone) but tries to make him leave during dinner time at DM's house.
And now the scene with Alex.
When will he stop being so childish ?
Happy to see Kim Seon Ho, Jung Kyung Ho & Jung Hae In. They deserve all the appreciation they get & more ♡
