Exactly. The girl who rode the swing was being weird too. And no she wasn’t drunk, she was being intentionally hysteric & wild. Jeong Su isn’t being sincere & it’s apparent. He wants to hold too many things at once so even before he realises it, things are slipping out of his hands. This season is filled with wannabe celebrities & I honestly don’t see any real couple/ real feelings being exchanged here. Feels like the casting is getting more biased & monotonous every passing season. Anyway I’m still getting entertained especially by the relatively candid scenes like the campfire one. It brought out different facets of the members & was insightful.
Jin Ho is obviously good at individual matches but Acau was amazing in this ep. His moves were precise, calculated & perfectly executed. Sung Bum underestimated him. Eon Kyu was simply lost & JDM blundered. Steve & Xitsuh could’ve done better. Min Ah was playing safe & Sung Bum failed to strategise (he seems to be more comfortable in team matches where others can support him to win).
Other than Eon Kyu & Min Ah, the final 8 were quite predictable. JDM & Steve advancing to the finals will be interesting. I enjoy watching Xitsuh play so if he’s in his best condition, he’ll be a treat to watch. Sung Bum doesn’t seem too strong in individual games but let’s see. The season 2 finale was kinda anti-climactic & didn’t have the palpable tension felt in the Genius or other show’s finale. So I hope that this finale will be exciting to watch & may the best player win.
The mother in law of the FL is a very ambiguous character & I’m almost sure that I wouldn’t encounter a similar one in any other drama. It’s good that she ain’t evil but her neutral stance is frustrating to watch. Healthy boundaries are absolutely necessary & her “calmness” just feels like an excuse to escape from her responsibilities. The ML & FL definitely make a good couple on screen but their relationship in this drama was far from a mature one. The FL had to constantly appease the ML’s enormous ego & despite that he still sulks and behaves recklessly. He went through hardships but never came to terms with the reality causing him to develop a victim mentality. He insults his childhood friend, makes his wife feel insecure & is hot headed all the time. If not for all the good people around him, making him realise his blessings, he was engrossed with his own flaws to an extent where he didn’t care for his own life either.
The ending felt rushed with all the characters suddenly turning a new leaf but it was a good watch. I wouldn’t re watch this but I would definitely listen to the OST again.

If you don't mind old dramas I would recommend 'New Heart', 'Save the last dance for me' (he met his wife through this drama). 'Secret' is a good one along with 'Kill me, Heal Me' (both have the same FL & their chemistry is 🔥). 'Defendant' drama is on the heavier side but he gave a stellar performance & swept all the awards for it.
Jang Jae Kyung reminds me of Cha Yo Han and it drives me crazy so damn attractive 😫

Never came across such an overwhelmingly disliked couple in the history of dating shows. It just reflects their rotten attitude. They were just after the fame but unexpectedly attracted people who were sincere. Now to get out of this predicament, they choose eachother & eliminated the need to "actually" date after the show.
First they (YW,JW) pretend to like them (CA,JH), then found out what they wanted & acted that role to the T. After we all (including CA,JH) made 🤡🤡 🤡 of ourselves by drawing a fairytale, they flipped the tables over, making us question "what's this?" & before we knew it we were left scarred.
I'm not interested in tallying their lies, questioning their morals or saying 'eww' 🤢at their excuses (though I did) but their audacity to keep riding on a high horse pretending that did the right thing is nauseating. They never try to put themselves in the other's shoes but expect everyone to understand them. I still don't understand what happened & if they did this for a "suspense" factor or due to personal interests, I can't help but feel disgusted. You have no right to traumatize people for your pleasure.
Wouldn't recommend this show to anyone though JS-SS, YJ-YH seem like a good pair & the siblings CA-CH, JH-SS & JS-YH have good dynamics. It's still distasteful & a complete let down for me. The only "healing/peaceful" part of the show is the panel especially Code Kunst, Bam Bam & THE best siblings Jonathan-Patricia.
YW crossed the line, he is literally hurting his own sister & stepping on her to reach his goals. I can't imagine the amount of effort he puts in to act like an ideal/ dreamy elder brother as he's clearly not one. Hope he could divert that effort/ energy into improving himself. Such an entitled, cold blooded, manipulative & fake guy.
CA put him in his place & her maturity is beyond her age. I think very few can handle this messy situation with as much grace as her. Most people would lose their balance, cry, flip over, bad mouth, blame or act clingy but she embraced her pain & remained amicable with everyone. No drama or chase for fame. JW might be overwhelmed by the attention she's getting, JS is more inclined to his work so dating sincerely is currently not on his to-do list (maybe he's just trying to find his ideal type) & YH might be feeling cramped of options. But even with that lens I can't comprehend YW. What does he want? (Other than controversy)

I think he is very aware of his posture. He knows how to seem effortlessly cool & he tries to ooze out confidence using his body language & tone. I totally understand that personality differences arise & (especially) in dating shows people can be fickle minded. But in any situation you are expected to have basic manners, sanity, common sense & maturity to face the consequences of your actions. You can't run away or press F5 in reality so what makes you think that you can do that here? Agreed that it's just a show at the end of the day but the people involved are real & have emotions.
