I didn't like her acting but I also didn't like her character, not just because of the actress but I also think she was written poorly too. I understood the character's reaction to being kidnapped, however her character soon got over it and slept with him, which I deemed unrealistic and poor writing, but still the actress shrieked and ruined many important later moments, particularly as he lay dying.

Just my opinion but you are also entitled to yours too.

He's fantastic, particularly in IOTNBO, one of the best performances I've ever seen on a screen.

She was actually more bearable in the beginning after she had been kidnapped, but when her chose him over her fiance then she became insufferable. All the head shaking and screaming made it unwatchable and I had to mute every single one of those scenes, even when he was dying in the snow, she ruined it. Most Korean actresses do this but a lot of the time less is more. Nam Ji-Hyun would've nailed this role but this actress was bad in this.

FL almost ruined this completely for me, her acting was insufferable, however thankfully both of the ML's saved the day. Way to ruin such bittersweet moments with her screeching and head shaking though.

I really wanted to like it but there was zero character development, you were just thrust into the story. It meant I didn't have time to cheer for anyone as I didn't know anything about their personality etc. A shame as I really wanted to like it and I loved that it was 12 reasonable length episodes too.

I agree, I think it was a missed opportunity not having some of them appear, particularly seeing as they are actually established actors in real life. Someya would be great!

There are parts that hit well but if I hadn't have been a massive fan of the games, then I wouldn't have watched it as it was just generic and forgettable. However curiosity got the better of me. I'm sure I'll watch the next series if if is released though!

That would've been awesome actually having Kuze's voice actor in it! Completely agree about the karaoke too. I would've liked some of the game OST too.

What have they changed? I haven't started this yet but I did watch the C version however I didn't enjoy that version as much as I thought I would.

You clearly don't understand my point, it's my fault for engaging with you. If you are new to the franchise, play Yakuza Kiwami which this series is loosely based on. That's it. Whatever makes you happy or keeps you occupied! 👋

It actually adds more than the original which was released back in 2005, there were more scenes etc. Therefore if you are new to the series, that is the game to play.

However if you only have a modern console or are new to the franchise, Yakuza Kiwami is the game to play unless you have a PS2/PS3 and want to play something with the graphics quality of a potato.

I completely agree but I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've been waiting for all of the episodes to be released before I watched it as I get impatient waiting for the next episode! 🤣
