Good Enough

Korean Drama " Love Scene Number " has a pretty bold story and doesn't shy off from more explicit topics.

The drama is divided into four stories, each of them dealing with the theme of love and relationships the way modern day women deal with. The love stories are realistic and dramatic to the slice of life level, keeping their authenticity and cold realistic view on the subjects. That is not to say that they weren't different from each other. Actually, the only thing that connected them was the mysterious woman that appeared somehow in each story.

The performances, moreover, were all great from everyone in the cast and the cinematography was simple but suited the stories well.

So, overall, 8 out of 10.

Good Enough

Cafe Midnight Season 3: The curious Stalker had an interesting story to present. The main points that get the viewer confused at times are the flashbacks and the scenes that are just the fears of the main character that are presented as part of the present storyline. Also, one needs to get a grasp on the concept of the series, that is the "time manipulation" theme.

Other than that, the atmosphere of the drama was magical and the main story was sweet. The mother-son relationship was interesting, although the mother's sickness could have been better explained. Also, the ending was not as good as the rest of the story, as it felt sudden and rushed.

The romance was cute though. The friendship was sweet and refreshing too. The leading lady did a great job with her character and she nailed those dancing scenes. The rest of the performances were okay.

So, overall, six out of ten.

Good Enough

" Single and Ready to Mingle " was a light and fun watch.

The story is fluffy and had the right feel good vibes to make it an easy web drama to watch in an afternoon. The actors and actresses, especially the idols, did a great job with their characters and had chemistry with each other, creating the right relationship dynamics from the start, something that helped the drama a lot, considering that the length of it is just eight episodes. As for the story, besides being light and cute, simply put, it's predictable but enjoyable.

So, overall, seven out of ten for this short web drama.

Good Enough

" Thumping Spike " was, surprisingly, a good drama.

Though short, it manages to cover a lot and built a nice romance. However, the ending was way too cliche for korean drama standards. Still, the main couple had chemistry and many cute moments. I actually don't love student-teacher romances, but this one was well created and explained, so it was easy to overlook. The sport theme wasn't overlooked, which was a plus for the drama as well. The team did a good job with the volley action parts too. Therefore, the series was also a nice sports drama part of the romance theme.

So, overall, eight out of ten.

The Web drama "A girl who loves my male friend " was cute, but it could have been better.

For web drama standards, there are many good ones out there who had raised the bar too high. And sloppy editing along with messy presentations of the story are now not easily ignored or pushed under the rag. That said, the drama had a cute story, and they added some twists here and there with the appearance of the two other girls. However, some of the episodes felt random. The story needed some time to present the characters better so that the audience could understand them. However, we only got a half baked romance with a random ending. The performances, somehow, were all great though and all the actors and actresses were enjoyable.

So, overall, five out of ten.

" Wish Woosh Season 2 " was not like the first season, but it was good enough.

The web drama didn't focus on how hard it is to date a co-worker, like the first season. On the contrary, the drama focused on the romantic story and the way the leading lady was afraid to let the guy into her life, because of an ex co-worker's warning not to date anyone who works with her. The love triangle was messy and not well developed too. The secondary couple was rushed as well and underdeveloped.

For the plus parts, now, the couple had chemistry and they were cute overall. The performances were nice as well from everyone in the cast. The cameo of the first couple was a nice touch, finally.

So, overall, six out of ten.

" Love of the palace " was an okay web drama.

The story probably was presented in a too-short length, and thus, it needed more time to be developed, to get to know the characters, and for the romance to be better paced and have a deeper intensity. Actually, the romance was so quick and sudden, that it was difficult to get into to it, though the drama towards the ending was a nice touch.

The performances, on the contrary, were great from everyone in the cast, and, especially, the two leads.

So, overall, four out of ten.

" Miss independent Ji Eun season 2 " was pretty entertaining.

The drama didn't follow the first season's story, rather, this one was college-themed. However, they kept the small tips at the end of each episode, which was a unique touch. The main actress was extra cute, especially in those tips scenes, but, overall, she was really the star of the drama. The second couple, though predictable, was sweet too. The performances, finally, were great from all the actors and actresses of the cast.

So, overall, seven out of ten.

" Shiranakute Ii Koto " was an enjoyable drama, overall.

The story had a relaxing pace and that allowed it to be more explanatory about the characters and the plot lines. The cases that they added were actually entertaining and it was nice that they had a new one in each episode. However, that meant that the main story got borderline towards the end of the episodes. The theme that it dealt with was not an easy one to present, but they did a good job with it, presenting the viewpoint of the cheaters and the aftermath of their actions. The final decision of the main character was the voice of reason after a frustrating series of events. Shigeoka's character was pretty annoying too.

So, overall, a good drama, but if you don't like watching dramas about cheating and broken human relationships, it won't be your cup of it.

" Moonlit Winter " or full moon, was a nice movie.

The drama was just enough and the character interesting. Especially the daughter, she was feisty and just the perfect partner for her mother, who was dynamic, but pretty closed to herself. The movie did a nice job with keeping things interesting, however, even though the idea of the story was original and very emotional, it felt like it wasn't well presented. At times, it got a bit confusing and it would have been better, in my opinion, if they had given us some information about their past relationship, or some scenes from the past, as to built a better intensity for the couple. The performances though were very good, and the young couple extra cute.

So, overall, six out of ten, because the story deserved a better presentation.

" Flavour it's yours " actually made that crazy plot work.

At first, the plot idea seemed ridiculous, but the personalities of the two main leads made it work. The mystery was good too, though the taste switching twist got messy and almost out of control. The romance was sweet, though and the leads had chemistry. The pace of the romance, however, was all over the place and almost ruined it. Thankfully, the couple had plenty of cute moments to cover up for it. The second lead's story was pretty interesting and he had a nice love story to boot. The performances were good too, but the leading lady looked way too young.

So, overall, six out of ten.

" Love after school second season " was okay.

The web drama picked up some time after the two leads got together and they have decided to get married. However, a girl from the male lead's past comes and messes things up. Though the girl seemed a bit annoying at first, the male lead ended up outstanding her. Therefore I wish that the ending was different, even though it was a happy one I suppose. The second lead who was in love with the girl never got explored more than just a few scenes either. But the multiple pov presentation was good, even though that ment that most of the scenes were repeated.

So, overall, five out of ten.

" Motokare Mania " had pontential, but it felt like it was wasting it.

First of all, the leading lady was really good. She was charming, adorable, and she had chemistry with her love interest. The latter was pretty cute, as well, and he added some comedy to the drama. The side characters were really entertaining as well, and their stories were interesting, probably more interesting than the main one after a while.

So, the first part of the drama was good, with some cute moments of the couple and the anticipation of their either reunion or final break up. However, it got tiring after the first half. And it got a bit boring as well.

So, overall, six out of ten.

" Fly me to saitama " was not my cup of tea, but there were some aspects of it that I did appreciate.

First of all, this movie is not for everyone. It must not be taken seriously and there is no real meaning behind it. However, the pace of the story was pretty good, with the adventure having a nice start and a dynamic ending. The production was really good too, with the costumes being top notch, as well as the settings. It is slightly bothered me that the grandson was played by an actress and not an actor, even though she did a great job with her character.

So, overall, six out of ten.

" 60 Days of Summer " was pretty entertaining. Although it wasn't that original.

However, it was interesting to watch the character development of the main character. The mystery was quite good too, however, it was solved too easily and that is why the rest of the movie was about the relationship of the grandfather and his grandson. But, they really didn't have any chemistry between them and that is where the movie failed. Finally the ending was good and satisfying. The performances were good too.

So, overall, seven out of ten.
