The scenes were just perfectly filmed, with some edgy camera work, nice mix of light and shadow and knife cut editing. The story was enjoyable as well, especially the first episodes. The characters were mysterious, though, in the end, they started fitting into well used molds. That part was a bit disappointing, along with the mystery case that somehow felt unrealistic. The pace, however, was kept breathtakingly quick throughout the drama. The performances were really good as well from all the actors and actresses in the cast.
So, overall, it was an interesting short, web drama.

The characters were tragic and their stories were sad and emotional. However, even though there were some poetic notes in the drama, the story felt like something we have watched before. There was a possitive side to the story which was inspiring, but the story was pretty much basic and it lacked that factor that could make it memorable. Nevertheless, the performances were pretty decent.
So, overall, six out of ten.

The love story was romantic and kind of realistic as well. I also liked the fact that the movie wasn't only about the love story, but it had some kind of darkness into it, as the characters were still stuck in the past, trying to overcome their demons together. The performances were good too, even from the side characters.
So, seven out of ten.

I did like the premises of the story and the begining of it. It was funny and the couple was adorable, although the guy didn't really treat the girl nicely.
The later was simply adorable and I really liked her character. However, the love triangle that was added to the plot halfway through, was weak, unfortunately.
The ending, finally, was ... hmm... okay I guess. I'm fifty fifty whether I liked it or not, because it was kind of cliche.
In addition, the performances were nice from all the actors and actresses of the drama.
So 5 out of 10.

It was obvious from the start that the creators of this drama had high hopes for it. A stellar cast with some strong names of the Korean industry taking key roles, an ambitious story and some impressive cinematography were factors for success. Maybe that is why they had so many product placement offers, which, unfortunately, all took, and, as a result, we had so many unnecessary and quite frankly, unrelated scenes of the characters using them (that episode of Welcome to Waikiki 2 comes in mind). But that wasn't the only problem this drama had.
First of all, the romance was off from the start. There was no chemistry between the main characters, even from the start, and, worse, it never got better. Not that their dynamics, when they were fighting in the first episodes, weren't entertaining. But, as soon as the romance part was involved, things went downhill. But, that should have been expected, as the drama's first love confession came in the first episodes, when we didn't even know the characters (and, to be fair, neither did they). So, the romance was out of the blue and unconvincing.
Despite the weak love story, and even though the drama needed a strong one to keep it entertaining and intense, the momentum of the mystery with the evil uncle faded out too quickly too. His story with his grand plan of manipulating people and events in order to get what he wanted, was not only complicated but got tiring soon after the first episodes. Also, the whole thing was just confusing, and, in retrospect, it didn't have to be. So, investing in figuring out what the whole thing is about isn't really worth it.
On the bright side, there were some side characters that really offered this drama some entertainment value. From the depth of their characters, to their performances, the second leads did an amazing job. Too bad that the drama just kept adding people and leaving their stories half baked.
So, overall, three and a half out of ten.

Good Enough
There were some points that made the movie "His" a beautiful film to watch, but there were also many others that slowed it down. The main factor that works brilliantly for the story is the cinematography. The rural scenary, along with the action taking place in a small community, while the one of the male leads, Shun, is living a quiet, agricultural life, in addition to the slow pace of the story, all enabled the film to master the spot on right atmosphere for the drama that was going to present.
The love story, on the one hand, was pretty intense, sad and with just enough twists. Honestly, I haven't watched the prequel series, which, as I'm informed, was more lighthearted and opting for a more youthful and cute look. This movie, though, was edging more on the dramatic side, flirting with the subjects of social obligation, homophobia, abandonment and social isolation. Those themes, along with the atmosphere that was managed to be created, worked nicely for the love story. However, Nagisha was an endearing character to like. He was presented as a victim most of the time, but his actions were more on the selfish side when it came to his lover (he decides to show up unannanounced after years of seperation which he had enforced on Shun) or his ex wife (though one can't really sympathize with her easily). But, he does manage to redeem himself in the end.
On the other hand, especially on the second half, the movie deepened more into the family drama. The story focuses on the trial between the two exes for the custody of the daughter and things get out of hand. The lawers take the main part of the screentime, attacking the two parents with arguements that didn't seem to work. For example, the mother's lawyer could easily have pointed out that Nagisha doesn't have a home of his own and, thus, he might not suitable for full custody. Alas, he opted to stick with his sexual preferenced, even when things didn't seem to be working for him.
Another annoying factor was the presentation of the ex wife. Edging the lines of bias, she was shown as the one who was capable of hurting the child, while she was more into her job than caring for her daughter. She even had a drunk insident. At this point, Nagisha's reasoning in the end was spot on.
So, overall, 5.5 out of 10. The movie was nice, but they focused more on the family drama and less of the love story.

like something crazily interesting, but still, the first episode was
promising. However, the drama was tiring, with a boring plot that
dragged on and on, with no actual twists, no chemistry between the
actors (not even the couple was good) and no humour. That resulted to
prevent me finishing this one, and I rarely leave dramas like that. I
mean, I was able to force myself to watch to the beautiful you, when
the plot got so predictable and boring, I could feel hours of my life
being wasted for nothing. But this drama was even worse. Maybe I was
expecting more out of it, as the cast was maned by seriously good
actors. So, what happened? I blame most of it on the story that was an
actual mess. So, 2 out of 10.

Korean Drama '' The Judge From Hell '' is a revenge fantasy with many criminal cases that get explored. The drama has a satisfying plot when it comes to giving justice, even though one can argue about its fairness and morality. But the cases the Judge takes up are so frustrating that the audience can't help but root for her to give them a 'proper' punishment.
The fantasy element, moreover, was nicely handled, as it was proven by the way they concluded the story. In addition, there were a lot of small details that enhanced it and made the lore compelling.
On the other hand, the final episode was pretty much a filler. Yes, it gave some additional moments with the characters, but plot vice, it didn't offer much. Also, the romance was nice and sweet at times, as it provided plenty of funny and cute moments, and fortunately, wasn't the focus of the drama. But, in the end, was kind of rushed, so a batter handle of it would have been nicer.
Finally, the performances were all great, but the leading lady stole all the thunder.
So, overall, seven out of ten.

The main story was good and melodramatic, even though it started as oddly as it ended. The couple had chemistry and the performances were perfect from both of them. These two helped the film a lot and made the love story intense and dramatic. They had some pretty good moments too, like towards the middle, when they met for the third time.
However, the presentation of the story was messy. The break ups were awkward and there were other misunderstanding that were just blown out of proporsion.
So, six out of ten.

Arthdal Chronicles Part 3: The Prelude to All Legends

However, there is a huge problem with the timing of this series. They stopped everything and had us wait for two months for the third part of the first season. And now we'll have to wait for season two, as this one was finished with an open ending. Another thing that just didn't get better in this part was how confusing the story is. They have so many plots to follow and mythologies to present that it is hard to keep up.
Finally, the performances were really good and the music okay, as well as the costumes and settings.
So, overall, six and a half out of ten.

School 2017 disappoints in the way that is not as good as the rest of the school series. The concept is a bit different, yet it deals with bulling and corrupted school systems. But in this case, the emphasis is given mainly on the X student mystery and on the main character's relationship with her fellow classmates and the school director's son more specifically. The love triangle, moreover, was weak, barely there and didn't really effected the plot in the end. The lead actress was good in her role, even though I expected her to be more shy and restrained, being one of her first roles as an actress rather than a singer. So, she was a nice surprise. However, the rest of the story was dull and the whole series kind of lacked of interesting twists to keep it going. Was this review helpful to you?

Korean Drama '' Love Scout '' is a slow burn love story with chill vibes. The drama is indeed a slow burn, from the atmosphere, which was perfect for the story, to the romance, which was well paced and the couple shared enough sweet and romantic moments as well as chemistry. The office drama was interesting as well, though the small 'cases' that the company was 'hunting' that were the most entertaining and touching.
Also the family dynamics were sweet and blended nicely with the main story.
However, there were things that the drama didn't manage that well, like the love triangle, the 'evil' business competitor, and the background story-trauma.
The performances, finally, were all great by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, six out of ten.
