Liver or Die is a frustrating story. It can make the viewer angry and annoyed in so many levels. The siblings were the most annoying characters, tormenting the lead in so many ways. Not that he can be excused, as he was always forgiving and rushing to their aid. The story was packed with mistfortunes as well, as everything bad and dramatic just happened to happen to the lead.
Now, for the actual story, it was good but nerve wrecking. The love stories were the best part of it, along with some nice family moments and the siblings dynamics. The ending was good as well and quite satisfying. The performances, finally, were really good from every actor and actress. So, seven out of ten.

As I haven't watched the anime or read the manga, Ajin live action was my first experiance with the story. The plot introduces the Ajin universe quite well and it explains it decently. However, the movie did what most of the live action movies based on manga-anime do: try to fit in too many elements in a few hours length movie and, in the end, the story feels flat. There wasn't time for the characters to develop or be presented in depth. Their motives were unclear at some points. However, the performances were really good and the action scenes entertaining. So, 6.5 out of 10.

I wasn't expecting that this movie would be any good, but surprisingly it was quite entertaining. Sure, the cliché was there. A student makes a deal with a bad boy to pretend to be her boyfriend in order for her to keep her friends. In exchange, she agrees to be his dog. Well, one good thing about this movie was that the boy didn't change into prince charming. On the contrary, he kept being a bad (really bad- not to use any other inappropriate language) boy and he was really rude, though the movie kind of tried to explain his behaviour. The girl was crazily naive and the definition of a push over. But the movie was quite entertaining and the love story okay, which was helped by the nice performances. So, 8 out of 10 (after watching it for the third time).

Even though Final Fantasy XIV: Hikari no Otousan was a short drama, they managed to present the story wonderfully. Plus, my only fear that the CGI would be terrible, was quickly dashed, as the computer graphics were decent and they didn't take over the drama. The story was nice, with slice of life vibes and a touching theme. I can only describe this as a nice treat. The performances were really good as well. My only concern is that the story was kind of simple and it didn't help me feel all those emotions that were produced by the idea behind the plot. So, seven and a half out of ten.

Evil and the Mask tried to tell a story, but failed to focus on that task. Actually, I only got half of it. The part where the hero was becoming the evil, the origin of it all, and his quest to save his first love (?). The rest, were a mess. His actual evil personality never really resurfaced, as most of the other characters were the epitomy of the drak side, while the main character looked rather than the victim of a poor up bringing, who was actually, trying to do the noble thing and save the girl... So, the story was a mess and kind of boring. The performances, however, were really good. So four out of ten.

First of all, the performances of all the actors and actresses of this drama were exeptional. I wanted to note this as a starting point of this review. Actually, I found the performances, and epsecially the leading lady, the best part of Boku wa Mari no Naka. So, other than that, the story is unique and leans towards the psychological rather than the fantasy genre. At some point, it was confusing and the ending did not help set things straight, unfortunately. Rather, it created more questions than answered them. Overall, it was an interesting story, with some interesting camera work. So, seven out of ten.

The premisses of the story of "Date - Koi to wa Donna Mono Kashira" drama was good, but the execution was not. The story was boring after a while, as the romance didn't seem like a romance. Plus, the game of "we are in love or we are not in love" was tiring. Especially the final episode, which was so rediculous, dragging the matter for a good half an hour! It was really frustrating. Plus, the couple were looking better as friends, as they were completely different. Now, for the positive notes of this drama, the performances were good and the second leads were adorable. So, four our of ten.

An intense drama with a heavy plot this one. The story has so many leyers that sometimes it wasn't easy to keep up. However, the many twists and the drama from the past were really entertaining. This drama follows the japanese original closely, but add it own touch to it, with the final ending similar and yet very different. Actually, the ending was a shock and it suited the relationship overall, the later being a very well presented one, as the two actors had chemistry. There were two things however that I didn't like about this drama : they left some things unconcluded and unexplained (a); Jin Kang was sometimes annoying as a character (b). But, overall, it was a great drama, so 8 out of 10.
