From Namiya Zakkaten no Kiseki I liked the first and the last part.

The begining was nice, as the story started growing and the movie presented the odd parallel world that was connecting the past with the present through the letters. Midway though, the movie got a bit boring for me. It picked up a lot after a while, however, with strong dramatic scenes and just great performances. The small letter cases were nice as well, although I found myself confused by the main one at times.

So, for the performances and the world built up, six and a half out of ten.

Assassination Classroom followed the anime close by, but they did messed up the ending so the story will fit the film.

The story started good, presenting the universe and the characters. The cast is an all star cast, although the main character was much more manly than the one in the anime. However, he did a good job with his acting nevertheless.

The film's plot was good until it reached a point when the story was rushed to finish. That deprived the story of the teacher-students dynamics that the movie needed to explain some of the events that happened.

So, good performances, surprisingly good CGI, nice action scenes, but rushed ending and lack of emotions: six out of ten.

If I can characterise this movie in one word is that Grasshopper was confusing.

The story had premisses to become a good crime thriller, but the three main characters, as well as the rest of the criminals and so, were just there, added to the story to create the world of crime. No prior information on who they are, why they are killers and so were provided in order to get to know them. At least the main character was presented well enough so we could keep up with the story. The ending was satisfying however, as it concluded the story nicely. Again, however, the story was confusing.

So, four out of ten.

What is my main concern about this movie is that they try to combine too much into so little time. It probably needed a drama so the whole tragedy of the story and the drama of the characters would properly be presented and the viewer wouldn't have to go on a rushed journey through the years. Plus, in that way the viwer could have sympathized with the characters more. Or maybe they could have presented only some years of the hero's life rather than the whole thing. Anyway, I know that there is a drama too, so maybe that one is better.
Other than that, the story is very emotional and heavy, as we see how society condemns a person because of what his brother had done, before even knowing him. Still, the plot was kind of rushed so it wasn't properly presented.
In addition, the performances were really good and that helped the movie a lot.
So, overall, six out of ten.

One thing is certain about saving rock : it is entertaining. The first episodes were solid gold, with clever humour and hilarious characters. We are introduced to the main story and how the main character tries (and often fails) to save money by living more frugal. The drama, however, slows down after a while, and the comedy is lessen. But, the bromance thrives, replacing the comedy element wonderfully. My only concern was the overdramatic-overacted scenes that could have been less. However, overall, the performances were really good. So, seven and a half out of ten.

Lost Days remeinded me of missing nine, with a more spread up plot, if possible. The story started nicely, as the friends enjoyed their time together and, slowly, their secrets started resurfacing. The drama had its best moment in about the five or sixth episode, when the main character discovered that something was really off and he tried to pick his friends up and leave, while trying to figure out what was happening. However, that was probably when the story should have left things. After that, the story kept repeating itself and it was boring really at some point. I also didn't like the ending. Finally, the performances were really good from everyone. So, five out of ten.

As this one is a web drama, I didn't expect too much out of it. However, I found the stories predictable and boring, apart from the final one, although that one too could have been handled better. I did take into account that this drama was created to advertise a line of sportwear, but, even so, I didn't even see the clothes in this one. At least the girls were cute and their performances were good. So, overall, three out of ten, because this could have been a much better drama if they had added better stories for the girls.

Honestly, I'm giving this one three stars out of ten because of the performances. All of the actors and actresses were really good, and, especially, the leading lady and her mother, they were both very good and emotional. However, the story was really a disappointment. At first, it was kind of interesting to watch how they girl was lead to being invisable. Unfortunately, that's were the entertainment stopped, The plot got a bit complecated and there was actually no meaning behind it all. Especially when it came to the bug man. Also, the CGI were really bad. 3/10

Is this like every other shoujo manga turned movie? Yes, but, fortunately, its production saved it from being a failure. That and the leading lady. She was not only very good at her acting, but also her character was easily relatable and very likable. Another plus for this movie was the friendship theme and the love triangle. The mystery behind the boy's first disappearance and then his "past" wasn't that interesting, as it wasn't treated as a mystery at all. However, he kept letting down the girl with no real explanation and that was a little annoying, as he was presented as the bad boy type though he didn't look like it. In addition, towards the end, it started getting boring and the final result was too predictable. That's why, I'm rating this one with 5 out of 10.

I can't say that this drama is my cup of tea. It was odd and somehow, everything came together in the end. But, it was just crazy for a plot. I can only pressume that the meaning of the story was how a lonely man got his wish to get a friend and eventually, a girlfriend too. The characters, part of the main one, were all kind of crazy and with odd backgrounds. At least, the performances were really good from all the cast. Plus, there were some enjoyable moments. So, six out of ten, because the ending was nice as well.

After watching this movie, I really couldn't find the point of the story. Sure, there could have been a nice romance. Only, any action happen towards the very end and it wasn't even that great, as they looked more like good friends than lovers. We never got a proper background story on the leads either. At least the performances were good and the story had a nice pace, so it wasn't boring, just pointless. There were some funny moments as well. I guess it lacked intensity. So, overall, four out of ten.

I can't say that I loved it. It was too similar to the original and yet very different. It was like they tried to make it fit into the japanese standerds. And it almost worked. Though the end was a bit out of the blue with the conclusion and they could have fixed that one. Also, I didn't like the couple. Although the performances were really good, however, the couple lucked chemistry. And it was odd how he fall for her so suddenly when he was a playboy. So, 4.5 out of 10 because it was 50 first dates in japanese.

Having watched many school slice of life movies, I've got to say that this one follows the same logic as the others. It did remind me of Reply 1997 as well. Also, I loved the sweet innocent romance, as the love story, even though it was full of cliche, it was enjoyable and warm. The performances helped with it as well. The pace was nice, not too fast but not to slow to be tiring and boring. However, the ending was a bit of a disappointment for me. As I've said, after watching many school themed movies, I should have expected this to happen. Few of them had a satisfying ending with a closure or at least a conclusion to the romance. Even though the ending was better than others, and gave some nice touch to the story, it still didn't feel right. Other than that, it was an enjoyable movie.

Overall, not bad, but the romance was kind of so so. Not because they didn't have chemistry; both of the actors were really good with their performances and the love triangle was cute and interesting, without getting too cliche. However, the love story didn't fully developed, or it wasn't presented as well as I would have wanted it to have. But, other than that, the side stories were entertaining, and the small stories for each episode were nice, full of school / slice of life mood. The girl's family story was okay, but they never really dove too deep into it, even though it was kind of clear that she wasn't okay with the whole situation. Nevertheless, the development on that one was nice. The friendship theme and coming of age theme were nice as well and were handled nicely enough.

It's a pity that this drama couldn't support it till the end. Actually, the length was just too much and kind of ruined the whole romance. The small doctor cases were interesting, but small, as the drama didn't really focused on them. Rather, they emphasised more on the love story, which was okay, but more interesting at the begining rather at the end. At first, the two of them were entertaining and funny, with the love triangle growing with a nice pace. However, things got of track towards the end. If the drama was at least two or three episodes shorter, I believe that it would have been better for the story. Finally, the performances were good, though the leading lady was a bit annoying. So, 5 out of 10.
