It wasn't a sad ending. Somewhat more realistic than a fairy tale happy one though.
I didn't say it was a sad ending though lol one could say it's a fatalistic one with most relationships these days.

Amazing storyline + brilliant acting + beautiful soundtrack = The best BL I've watched so far (in my opinion)…
The soundtrack is excellent! I've already shazamed so many songs lol and added them to my Spotify playlist.

I'm so in love with the series. It's lighthearted and cute, but also touches on real issues and emotions. I am so impressed by the dialogue and the slow but steady character development as we dive into each of them, even Ana! Highly recommend watching, it's been such a joy so far. There's a realism and human quality to this that is really connecting with me. Also, small thing but can I also point out how excellent the soundtrack is? My spotify is getting so many ads from this series.

Same. No way I'm supporting this mess. I'm honestly kind of hoping if Mame's projects start doing poorly they'll stop picking them up, or at the very least giving her the freedom to dictate anything to do with them. I fully blame her for the trainwreck we've gotten this season.

I'm so behind Terrence and Wesley but I really hope Achilles gets his own satisfying happy ending, he clearly deserves it. Also, I'm hoping Achilles is the lead or one of the leads in the new series, we need more male leads like him!

I don't know how or why (if their parents ever find out or what) but I think Tin ends up heading the family business and ends up with everything so...I can only assume the truth comes out? Maybe someone else will clarify haha I don't think the novels were ever fully translated but I had to drop Breath it was too much for me.

Okay I feel like I ask this every episode but what the hell is up with Tin’s brother?!? What the hell is his…
If you're interested I posted a full explanation (contains some spoilers) above. But yes, in the end Tin does end up "defeating" his brother, though it's kind of...ambiguous. I think the problem is that Tul's issues are definitely related to his mental health, and I think Tin grows to understand this. Which, even though he triumphs in the end, I think makes him sad for the lost potential of a relationship with his brother. I didn't finish reading the entirely of Breath (Tul's novel) so I'm not sure about the specifics but from what I know and have heard Tin ends up what would probably be considered the "victor".

Since there appears to be a lot of questions about Tul (Tin's brother) and what his issues are, I'm posting an…
Tul's hatred for Tin isn't because of Hin, Tul has always hated Tin. Tul vowed he would destroy Tin and take everything that was his because Tin is the actual legitimate child of their father. Tul's mother is English and when her and their dad got together, their dad's parents (especially the grandmother) forced it to end. When that happened Tul's mother abandoned Tul and Tul's father married Tin's mom and they had Tin who was considered the male heir of the family. Tul was left with his grandmother who abused him, so he hates women. Hin has been around him from childhood and they have a very...er...disturbing imo servant/master relationship where Tul likes to hurt and force himself on Hin and Hin allows it because he thinks Tul needs the outlet of hurting someone to make him happy. Which is true, Tul is pretty sadistic and does get off on hurting other people, especially Tin. Hin obsessively loves Tul to the point that he will let Tul do anything to him. That's why there's the scene in the series where Tul says "you can only cry if I make you cry" (or whatever the line was). Tul keeps Hin on the side even though he gets married and has a son because it's in his plan to take over everything by being the perfect heir.

I'm not entirely clear on how Hin becomes sort of like a "personal assistant" to Tul, from what I understand that's what his role is in the household. I think he just does it because he wants to and because it keeps him close to Tul. They've been together since they were very young: grew up together, went to school together (highschool and university), and I can only assume Hin comes from a well-off family (Hin also still has both his parents who love him). Tul and Hin are around each other 24/7. And Hin is really obsessed with Tul...like...really obsessed. He says he was born to serve Tul and Tul is his breath (i.e. he can't live without him), and it's why their novel is called Breath. I think part of the issue too is that he witnessed a lot of Tul's abuse so he tries to make up for it.

Tul in his hatred for Tin has made sure that Tin is hated amongst his family. He does everything in his power to make sure Tin is miserable because he irrationally is jealous and blames Tin for everything that happened (his mom leaving, his grandma abusing him, Tin being the heir, etc). It's mentioned early on that Tul basically raised Tin. Their parents never wanted anything to do with Tin when he was little (they are rich socialites who care about appearances, socializing, etc). They've both mentioned that Tul spoiled him on purpose so that he would be out of control, and his parents would want to send him away to boarding school (that's why they showed the scene where Tin hurt Hin). Once he is away at boarding school that's when Tul initiates the plot to get him caught with drugs and makes sure it leaks to the press so it ruins his reputation. The woman Tul is talking to in the last episode is not Tul's real mom it's actually Tin's mom.Tin's mom is a pretty selfish character who only cares about what makes her look good, i.e. she doesn't care about her own son. Tul's mission in life is to take everything away from Tin that could ever make him happy, and now that includes Can. Anyway, Hin is a huge part of Tul's life and story. In fact, Tul's son is named after Hin and their relationship (crazy I know). It's also why Tul carries around the black stone, Hin in Thai translates to stone. Hopefully this helps anyone who is confused to better understand both their characters. You can find the novel translated on Wattpad, but I'll warn you it is graphic and definitely highlights negative aspects of a very dark relationship. It is contains rape and abuse, but beyond that a character who actively enjoys hurting his partner in unsafe ways. At the very least make sure to read what triggers there might be just in case.

If you're interested, I responded to some of the questions you both had about Tul and Hin (that I know the answer to anyway hah).

This was actually very cute, definitely fluffy first love vibes. For it not getting very much buzz it's a nice feel-good watch.

Ok so I'm officially going to pretend the first 6 episodes didn't exist, they were so unnecessary. Episode 7 where we (FINALLY), get some plot development was a move in the right direction. Hopefully, it continues to improve from here. The teaser for episode 8 is really where I'm feeling might be a turning point in this series.

Is this the one with the million actors??
You might be thinking of So Much In Love, there haven't been too many characters on this yet imo there are only four main characters right now (and one antagonist).

Am I the only one that actually likes this series?
I'm enjoying it so far. It's not my favorite but there's nothing inherently offensive or bad about it. It's not super intense, and I think the fact that there's not anything incredibly dynamic or dramatic about it may put people off. I feel like we've seen similar comments from other BL with more staid storylines (i.e. not TharnType). It's just a matter of preference. I actually like when we get characters that are more introverted, and have quieter personalities as we see so many portrayals of confident, aggressive, extrovert type energy from leads. While I would say Solo is definitely on the aggressive/possessive side, he's definitely an introvert. In a very different sense from the icy tsundere characteristics of Phu, which is a nice contrast (we get Phu's character a lot more often too I think).
