So one can live without a kidney and they won't realised it's missing*****
Absolutely, a kidney is one of the organs that someone alive can donate to someone else in a medical emergency. That's why in kidney transplants relatives are looked for as matches first :)

Wondering if I should start this... Could someone tell me whether this is purely medical or whether it actually…
Honestly, it's heavily medical, just because that's Sammon's style. It's medical suspense in the same way as Manner of Death so I would say if you watched that and didn't like it, then you probably won't like this because the style is similar even if the story is very different. One major difference in the medical aspects though is that this is set in an ER so everything is really fast-paced, which might be a good thing for you? From my perspective very much a thriller/mystery, and it's kept many of us on the edge of our seats watching what unravels each episode. Spoiler: someone usually dies and it's not always the character Tin is trying to keep alive lol like someone commented below some of the things that have been touched on are suicide, medical malpractice, black market organ trafficking, time loops/manipulation. Plus the acting and the storyline so far have both been great IMO, hopefully, this helps you make an educated decision XD

The loops are kind of the point of the whole show?
I think it's pretty safe to assume the loops are going to continue to happen throughout the rest of the series. There will probably be a longer break between the next one though, considering where the storyline is now.

Got to agree with the "week" perspective. It is too short to break the two and also will that "week" also covers…
From what I understood, they gave her the KCl the way they did on purpose. By not diluting it and injecting it directly her going into cardiac arrest was the excuse they needed to take her into surgery. Dr. Sak mentions there's someone waiting for the "delivery" in the surgery room. Which means they need her to undergo surgery so they can harvest an organ and deliver it to whoever is paying for them. They were planning on her daughter not being there (the nurse mentions it) because when a patient has an emergency doctors have the right to intervene in any way necessary without permission if family isn't present or reachable. Because Heart was there that complicated things and you'll notice the nurse pushes Heart to approve emergency surgery and to sign a paper, likely a liability waver/permission form, so they can move forward without things looking suspicious.

i wanna know, how is Rit's Kidney thing and Mai's mother's death related to Tol's death? i must have missed something…
It's all interconnected and that's what Tin is trying to figure out. He's not quite sure at which point is the best to stop the domino effect that leads to Tol dying (and many others). He knows it's all connected to Dr. Sak, so every time he uncovers more - and saves people's lives - he gets closer to being able to save Tol.

We know Rit is connected to Tol through what happens between them at school. This event led to Rit taking poison and the reason he dies from my limited medical knowledge (lol) is because of his lack of kidney function - kidney's help remove toxins from your body - a kidney that was supposed to be there. So Rit's role is really crucial in the story because he's the reason Tin starts suspecting Dr. Sak and realizing something is really wrong at the hospital. Tin finding out about Dr. Sak is a critical component to him saving Tol because of Dr. Sak's connection to Mai and her mom. Rit's death itself doesn't have much to do with Tol at the moment, other than him being partially the reason Rit tries to kill himself. Though Rit is important not only because of the knowledge his death gives Tin about Dr. Sak, but also because if he's alive they can investigate what happened to his kidney (which is why Tin involved Sing). There's a reason Dr. Sak kills patients once things are close to being uncovered, because they're living proof of what he's done. If they're dead he can point to other possible means of death and stop an investigation from moving forward because of his connections in the hospital. Remember Tin tells Sing to get Rit looked at somewhere else.

Now we know that Dr. Sak is connected to all of this through the illegal dealings he has, so Tin is realizing the reason that he's in this loop to begin with is because he needs to stop Dr. Sak (again something he finds out because of Rit's death). Tol dies every time he's upset over Mai, all Mai cares about is her mom, Tin thinks that in diverting Tol's feelings for Mai and in saving Mai's mom from Dr. Sak (so Mai can't get close to Tol for money) that might be a key to saving Tol in the end. We know Dr. Sak is either behind Mai's mom's current illness or aggravating an illness she already has, so Tin knows if he interferes Mai might not be desperate enough to look to Tol for help.

Basically Tin in trying to save Tol and is realizing that saving Tol is complicated because there's layers to why he dies in the first place. Every time he thinks he has an avenue to saving him he fails because the root of the issue (his connection Mai, Mai's connection to her mom, her Mom's connection to Dr. Sak) is much bigger. So in saving Tol, Tin is also uncovering Dr. Sak's misdeeds in an effort to stop him and saving as many people as he can.

Another great episode! So many twists and turns and more people added to the death toll when things go wrong. I can't imagine the amount of pressure Tin must be feeling as each piece of the puzzle drops in place and more is at stake every time.

I have to prepare myself because there is no way Tol isn't dying at least once after he and Tin get established (that's too good of a plot bunny lol) and I don't think I'm ready for how gut-wrenching that's going to be.

I'm actually really excited for the next episode and the coming "romancing of Tol" that's going to happen lol. Such a good angle for Tin to now use what the knows of their past together to help him gain his trust even more from the beginning.

My anticipation for this is so high every week, the plot has me on tenterhooks. I feel like the looping is done really well, with just enough frustration to keep you on the edge of your seat. As Tin uncovers something new each time it doesn't get stale and helps to continue to move the plot forward, while still keeping true to the main premise of the series. I really love the mystery that they've interwoven into the story between Rit, his relationship to Tol, Sing, the head doctor, his minion...(what are we thinking? organ harvesting?) it was such a smart addition. It gives viewers a mental break from the problem of saving Tol without it feeling like something out of left field.

Speaking of Tol, now we know Tin is for sure imprinting on him based on Tol sensing he felt familiar. Now I'm really preparing myself now for an influx of angst, the more Tol remembers and the closer Tin and he get the worse it's going to be every time he loses him T_T.

Sammon really does a great job with suspense and intrigue, which brings me to my next point. The writing is excellent, and I feel like a dummy for not realizing until way too far into the show that this is by the same author as Manner of Death. The medical references should have clued me in right away!

The writer, Sammon (the same author as Manner of Death) is a doctor and it's a huge part of their writing to include medical accuracy. I read an interview with them once where they said that often the inspiration for their novels comes from their favorite subjects when they were in medical school (forensic medicine being one), and their characters are often influenced by other medical professionals they've met which I thought was pretty cool.

the amount of patience kinn has when his dad was talking gibberish while cutting the apple.
I personally didn't think the dad was talking gibberish, he uses euphemisms to get his point across and he's the coldest out of all of them lol. I felt like that was an important scene because he was warning Kinn not to get soft or he would be useless to him and could lose his favor. The knife - his favorite knife because it was his sharpest and could cut anything - represents Kinn. The knife got dull when he used it to cut apples - exposure to something sweet - and was never useful to him again so it stopped being his favorite knife. Ouch. Damn cold considering he's talking to his son, but I think it's been clear from the beginning he see's Kinn more as a tool or a weapon than a son, and we know there's no real love lost in this family. Also considering this is the mafia he's not wrong, any softness could be considered a weakness and Kinn now has a giant weakness the size of Porsche and his dad knows it. If you think about it, nearly every bad decision Kinn has made up to this point has been through pressure from his dad to keep ruthless.

This was great, loved it.

I feel like earlier comments on this were a bit dramatic tbh. I'd say give it a chance if you haven't as I've personally really enjoyed it. It's surprisingly sweet, down-to-earth, and relatable. The suspense was also unexpected and pretty awesome haha I had a couple of jump scares that cracked my sister up. There's less fervent intensity around the feelings between Jiwoo and Roa than I think is probably typical in a BL and I kind of enjoy that. I loved their awkward first meeting, their instant chemistry that played out through an initial friendship, burgeoning attraction, and finally mutual falling for each other. People always have the oddest reaction to series that depict the natural development between an initial meeting of strangers into something more. Not every relationship starts off with intense insta love or a passionate romance. Sometimes...I don't know...getting to know someone first works too? I think it's so much more realistic to show that you don't always instantly like/love someone you don't even know, sometimes you learn to love someone the more time you spend with them and get to know them. Between spending time and figuring out who was terrorizing Jiwoo and Yoona together Jiwoo and Roa's relationship blossomed into something more, which to me makes a lot more sense than instant love but that's a love cynic talking lol.

I will also say not everyone is super in tune with their sexuality (can fully attest from experience), and sexuality is a fluid spectrum that does include bisexuality as much as people like to pretend it doesn't exist. Some people can identify it within themselves and some people can't, or do so late in life. While I get the criticisms, some of the initial comments on here feel closed-minded and dogmatic. As someone who has been there done that, there aren't any rules to being queer, and the "you can only like girls OR boys" bs is outdated. Nothing about love or sexuality is that straightforward. You can tell from very early on that Jiwoo is confused by his attraction (which is evident almost from the start) to Roa, especially considering his initial crush on Yoona. That bathroom scene when he was washing his hair alone had gay panic all over it. I also think it's really interesting that his crush on Yoona started from an admiration of her confidence in herself, I think that says a lot about him (admiring someone can be synonymous with a crush). And I also think it says a lot about him that he ends up falling for Roa someone who cares for and protects him.

Do I wish they had developed things further? Of course, but I didn't think that hindered things too much. It's a feature film length that's easy to get through in one sitting and an enjoyable watch. I really loved both Jiwoo and Roa (talk about dreamy eyes) as characters and their actors were both great. I think the only secondary character I could have done without was Namjun and his anger issues. I felt like his character felt the most underdeveloped, which was a hindrance to understanding anything about him. I'd say go into it with an open mind if you haven't seen it yet, there's been a lot worse silliness released lately that I think was probably more deserving of the criticism this got.

The reason why this series is so underated because they not interfans friendly. With all the quality that this…
I honestly haven't checked the episode ratings and series rankings lately, but last I saw it was doing well. Paint with Love (Tae's other series) did well, so I can't imagine this would be different. People forget that outside of GMMTV (to name a larger agency) these shows aren't really made with interfans in mind at all. There's more money in making sure they do well in their home country rather than abroad, at least for now.

I wasn't saying there's not a reason it's underrated, just that it is lol. I mean they aren't beholden to interfans as much as we'd like to be demanding about it. It's up to them whether they care enough to cater to interfans or not. It seems like an unnecessary loss not to but there's a reason they don't really care and it's because it's super popular in Thailand since it includes SBFive members. A lot of people don't realize that, for example Gen Y wasn't popular internationally for various reasons but it was one of the top performing series when it was airing in its own country. I don't really let it bother me if they don't support an international release, either I'll watch it if it's released later or I'll do a search for the episodes - that are honestly quite easy to find subbed - if I care enough about the series. It's their own loss that they're missing out on views lol if they don't care, I don't.

Definitely one of the most underrated series out right now. It's frustrating as hell but I'm invested in how to save Tol! LOL and now with the butterfly effect complication, it seems like the most impossible task ever. I feel for Tin. I'm really curious now to see how they start to build Tol and Tin's relationship in the coming episodes...

I've enjoyed this so much much than I thought I would! I didn't have very high expectations for it and I've been pleasantly surprised. The chemistry between the two main couples so far is on point and there have been so many moments where the comedy had me laughing out loud (I'm used to cringing through most comedic scenes in BL lately so big improvement haha). Between this and Triage StarHunter has made some massive improvements with the projects they're producing. Definitely not perfect, but it's a fun watch and I've really liked how so far the acting between the four leads has felt quite natural. I've caught several moments where it appears Boss has had real reactions to Peter's more hilarious facial expressions LOL. I put off watching this then binged through the latest three episodes in a row because I was so into it!

Omg. This had me on the floor lmao. Well at least Dao has personality enough for a harem chasing after him to make sense, Theo was a walking piece of cardboard who lived to make others lives difficult.
