I agree completely! I feel like they've done a very good job of making this a REAL enemies-to-lovers slow burn romance. I love that she does not just forgive him everything after their dynamic shifts in ep 10, and their interactions are still tense and unsure of one another for a few more episodes, gradually changing as they spend more time together and get to actually know each other. He is remembering his humanity and empathy for others beyond his own people and mission through her, and she is understanding the world and people around her more and more deeply because he doesn't try to restrict her or hold her back (like the selfish and manipulative SML).
This show is a 10/10 for me. I also have not read the novel so the drama stands on its own for me, but the actors are really doing an excellent job showing a lot of nuance with these characters.
