I've been thinking and I don't want to go extreme because this series isn't build like that. But the hidden agenda…
It could be that he knew that guy.. I did think Joke acted a little weird / guilty when Zo was telling him about it. But I guess that doesn't really have anything to do with their relationship starting on a lie.. I don't know, I'm honesty down for anything except Joke using Nita as an excuse to get close to Zo.. I really hope it's not that because it's going to be really stupid if it is. At least to me it would be cause if it was me and I found that out after I liked and started dating that person, it wouldn't make me angry. I would probably find it endearing or just laugh about it. If you no longer have feelings for the other person, it just feels like a stupid thing to get that angry over.
I was at first thinking the Nita thing, but Joke already admitted he helped Zo in order to get close to him, didn't…
I didn't think he did, I thought he just admitted his feelings I didn't think he ever said that he was helping with Nita to get close. I could be wrong though, I do have a bad memory. I really hope that's not the lie though cause if it is, that will honestly be kinda lame..
So far nothing has confused me and I like it just a bit upset with ep 2 ending, if they all have sad/sadish endings…
Yeah I was disappointed with the sad ending.. I had prepared myself for it, but then when Pluem was talking to Kim in the bathroom and Kim said something about Pluem staying and that he would be a better version, it got my hopes up that Pluem would get to stay. The after credit scene ruined that though π They didn't portray the bathroom scene at all like a dream or all in his head so I took it as real and it made the ending even sadder..
I believe he's just being super protective here too like every time he complains, it's about Yoo Kyeom being a…
That's the feeling I've gotten to. That everyone just reads to much into his behavior, but he just does it cause he cares for his friend. As you said, I hope we aren't wrong.
I know thoughts are mixed and alot of people seem disappointed, but personally I'm loving this series! The only thing I dont like so far is Sun Woo liking his female friend. They haven't confirmed it in the series, but its been implied multiple times as well as talked about. I really hope everyone is wrong and that he doesn't have feelings for her. I loved in the original series that they were just really close friends and he was super protective. I hope that's how this ends up being as well. I'm also curious how they are going to do Sun Woo and Yoo Kyeom's relationship. In the original, while what they did was mean towards Hwahwa they weren't cheating because Fight and Hwahwa never actually started dating. In this series though, they have said they were officially dating so if anything happens before him and her break up they will be cheating..
Side note: My lord, the guy who plays Sun Woo is super adorable π I love Saint with all my heart, but I actually think I like this actor as the character better.. Please don't come for me π₯Ίπ
I really enjoyed these first two episodes! Yes it has it's flaws compared to the original, and personally I still like the original more, but I still really like this. I'm trying to not compare it to the Thai version to much and just watch this its own series. So far, while it is a little fast paced, I think it was a great start.
I'm liking it so far (2 episodes) but omg does the subs make it hard to enjoy...
If you haven't finished this already, you rry someone on Kofi I use. DM If you are intetested. They've subbed a decent amount of Thai series, ones with bad or no subtitles, and this is one of them. It is how I watched the show when it aired cause I felt the same way with the subs. It is 5 dollars a month, but I feel like it is totally worth it. If you do subscribe, they don't post what they are uploading openly because they've had stuff stolen or taken down. Instead you can message them and they will send you a list of what they've subbed and you just send back what you want the episodes of.
I really like this series, despite the flaws it has, but there is one thing that still doesn't make sense to me. Even after 10 episodes there is still no good explanation for why Irin is off-limits and Pine will murder you if you are with her. I seriously don't get it and feel like I've missed something. He apparently has no romantic feelings for her so at first I thought maybe it was because they've known each other for a long time. But no, she is just a random girl that he happened to save who got attached to him because of it [despite Hack being the actual reason she was saved π]. Personally to me, they haven't done a good job of explaining why she is so special and close with all of them when they are clearly just protectors. They saved Gale in the first or second episode from the same thing and then Wolf this episode hurt that guy for taking pictures up girls skirts. They clearly have no tolerance for sleezy creeps, so what happened with her to form the bond between them? Did she just keep coming around?? With the few interactions we've seen between Irin and Pine and the whole wall conversation, his 'Don't touch her' attitude makes no sense. Maybe they'll explain it later, but considering we're 10 episodes in and they've talked about this and Irin's feeling's many times, I feel like it should've already been explained by now.. I also dont understand why Hunter and Naanam helped Allie with Hack? Is it to help Irin realize her feelings for Hack cause that backfired bigtime if so. Also find it weird that though Hack didnt want to sleep with Allie she someone managed to get him to The Jungle Room π€ Regardles, I still really like the series and can't wait for next week's episodes!
This wasn't terrible, and the storyline really interests me, but I can't lie.. I felt confused at least 50% of the time π Still excited for the next episode though and I'm really hoping we somehow get a happy ending π₯Ί I really wish they were uploading 2 episodes a week though. It makes more sense to give us the full 2 episode story each week..

I don't hate this series, but I can't lie and say that I'm not disappointed. I thought the series was gonna be about Joke helping Zo with Nita and then Zo slowly falling for him instead over the course of the series. I loved that idea and thats why I was so excited for this series. After like 2 to 3 episodes though, that storyline was already over and now it just feels like a mess.. I definitely didn't expect that storyline to span the whole twelve episodes, but I expected it to be more than just the first couple. It just made me wonder why the whole trailer was about that storyline if they were just going to go past it so fast. I even rewatched the trailer to see if I was remembering wrong, but I'm not.. That story line and them falling for each other is all the trailer shows.. I really love JoongDunk and though I agree that Dunk's acting could be better sometimes, I don't feel its as bad a some people are saying. For me, the acting isn't the issue with this series, its just the writing and the plot.. I feel like the series could have been amazing if they stuck with the original plot longer, but sadly its just kind of losing me now. It just feels like they're adding in random plots to fill the remaining episodes. Like Puen's character.. Why just now introduce him and say that he kinda gave Zo confession anxiety, just to have it be resolved this same episode. His character just felt really pointless unless he is going to come back later. As I said, I really love JoongDunk and I personally think that they have great chemisty together. I really want this to be successful and succeed for them so they get more work, but I'm having a hard time staying interested. I've debated dropping it, but I'm still interested just enough to try to stick it out. Though I already saw it coming, introducing the stalker back into to the story is an interesting choice. I'm not sure I love the idea, but I guess it'll add something new. I'm curious to see where this goes, but I can kinda already guess. Anyways, I just wanted to vent because I've been a little sad about how the series has turned out. If you made it this far, thank you for listening π
The chemistry of the two male leads is off the charts! I am convinced that they are real life couple. Their bedscene…
That's exactly how I felt too. It felt like I was intruding, like I was watching a couples video not a series. That is definitely one of the most realistic/natural bedscenes in a series that I've ever seen.
It's out on Gagaoolala. Someone said episode 3 is the one we'll have to wait for. They are going on a 1 week hiatus so we'll get episode 3 on August 31st.
just finished episode 7 and am loving this series so far! My heart was breaking for Nanfah and Pladao at the end of the episode π₯Ί I completely understand though that right now might not be the best time for these two. I know they are end game though, so I'm sure we'll see them again. I had a question for anyone who has read the novel, does Hunter get a love interest? I love his character and would love to learn more about his history too, but I also want him to find love like everyone else is π₯Ί
