Thank you for confirming 😊 Yeah the fake relationship doesn't make much sense, I was just grasping at straws 😅 I ended up checking to see and they do say in the first episode 'We are officially in a relationship'.. Unless it's a translation error, it makes Yugyeom's actions messed up. It's like you said, their status seems to be up in the air, but them saying it that way doesnt sound like it. The way he's treating her though, definitely isn't how you treat someone your officially dating. I feel like there is either more going on than we've seen, its a translation error, or they'll just never explain it. Yeah I noticed his expression too, I feel like he might be suspicious though. At the drinking party later in the episode when Yugyeom is asking where Sunwoo is he also gives him a similar look. Part of me wondered if he was supposed to be the Day of this series, and that he secretly likes Doyeon as well.
I'm a little confused about the latest episode.. I thought Yoo Kyeom was dating Doyeon, didn't they confirm that in an earlier episode? How can he ask Sunwoo to date him, if he's currently dating Sunwoo's best friend. Thats super messed up.. Did I mis‐remember this?? Unless their dating is all fake... 🤔 Also, just gotta say the kiss between Ji-Oh and Yiwon was so perfect. It is probably one of my favorite first kiss scenes in a KBL!

I love them both a lot for different reasons, I will say though that in my opinion these actors fit the characters better. I dont understand why people are hating on it. I do feel its a little rushed, but its super cute and the actors are portraying their roles perfectly in my opinion. I'm honestly so sad we have to say goodbye to this series next week 😭
I'm really loving this version of the series! I really love that they took the original idea, but didn't try to replicate everything in Thai Version. They made it there own and I honestly really love the changes. I do agree with what someone else said, that instead of calling this a remake they should have said inspired by because it is very different from the Thai version. While I am loving the changes they made, it does still feel a little bit rushed.. I really wish that we had gotten either longer episodes or more episodes. I'm so sad that it's going to be ending next week 🥺
I keep hoping they'll add on two more episodes because two episodes does not feel like enough for how much stuff we have left to get through without it feeling super rushed.. I know it's super unlikely, but one can hope 😔

I definitely think they have chemistry, I guess I just expected more from their story. With how closed off and cold Pine is, I didn't expect it to be because of a women he has had a few conversations with and slept with a couple times. He literally had one conversation with her and slept with her once and was already super fixated on her. Even since then, not much has happened between them to explain how destroyed he is in present day because he lost her. While they have chemistry, I just don't feel like they've given us enough moments to explain that strong connection he feels for her. I know the other's relationships happened kind of fast as well, but Wayu and Nathee have a past with their love interests and Hack and Irin have known each other for years. Nanfah and Nannam's stories happened kind of fast, but while they acted flirtatiously early on, it was still awhile before real feelings developed. With Pine's story feeling the most intense with how he's acted and how cold he is to everyone in present day, so far whats happened between them isnt enough to justify his actions/feelings for me. Unless, you classify it more as obsessive than actual love like I said before. Than his actions and feelings make more sense.. I dont know, it just has made me not enjoy their story as much, but maybe I just built what could be up in my head to much 🤷♀️ This is all just my opinion and I'm sure people disagree, but I just feel like their story could've been better.
I'm sorry, but I still don't like Pine and August's story.. Even less after today's episode! I don't know if they are trying to get us to sympathize with Pine and failed or if they are purposely trying to get us to dislike him because Pine just seems like a huge creep to me now. Him and August just started a sexual relationship, thats it they were very clear that that's what it was. Now though, like days after that, he starts stalking her when he thinks she has someone else and is acting like a possesive jealous boyfriend. He has literally no right to be mad at her. She made him no promises and was very clear on their boundaries. Him stalking her to the restaurant was already creepy enough, but the fact that he stalked her to Peem's house and jumped the fence to try and go 'expose' them is beyond creepy. I don't care if Peem's married and he thinks that she's with a married man / being lead on, its super creepy behavior. This isn't 'I'm in love with you' behavior, this is obsessive 'tie you up to keep you to myself' behavior. In the future they make him seem all pitiful like she completely destroyed his heart, but honestly I feel no sympathy for him at all. I don't know what they'll do next episode maybe they'll change my mind, I doubt it, but right now I like Pine even less than I already did. On a different note, the whole beginning of the series, before these flashback episodes, it always seemed like Pine was mourning August and that's why some people thought she might be dead. Even one of The Jungle, I believe it was Hack, said to Irin 'this is the day he lost her' [or something like that] which could be taken as her dying. With the previews showing her in a car with gas filling it and him trying to get to her, part of me wonders if she fakes her death and he thinks she's dead. He does have a really shocked look on his face when she shows up at the end of episode 11, but he would probably be just as shocked if he hasn't seen her for years so it's hard to say. No, these aren't specials. They are individual original stories, they just aren't a normal series length. Each story gets 2 episodes, so they are basically just movies that are split into 2 45mins - 1hr episodes.
