I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels that way!

Sadly I have to agree. Personally, I thought they had great chemistry in the few romantic scenes we got in Never Let Me Go. At the beginning of this series though, they had decent chemistry but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Now, I've noticed as the episodes have gone on that it feels like the chemistry has gotten less and less. Like this latest episode, they felt more like affectionate best friends not like they were boyfriends which just kind of pulled me out of the story a bit I guess.
On top of that the writing and plot is not doing them any favors. They rushed the enemies to lovers thing way too quickly, as well as Sailom forgiving Kang way too quick, and currently the danger is nonexistent. I feel like that may pick up in the next episode or two, but sadly the show isn't what I thought it would be and it's been a disappointment.

Thats exactly how I've been feeling too.
I think it's partly because the series isn't what I thought it would be. I thought it was going to be them being enemies for a while, during Sailom's tutoring, and slowly falling for each other while also dealing with Sailom's money issues. Instead though, the enemy part went out the window after like episode 2 and they fell for each other super quickly. Which felt really odd considering everything Kang put him through in the first couple episodes. I mean they did explain that a little bit in episode 9. They implied that Sailom had liked Kang before the events of episode 1 when they talked about the first kiss being lovehate. Still, it all happened way too fast.
Another part of it for me is that though I love PerthChimon and thought they had strong chemistry in Never Let Me Go and the beginning of this series, it feels like their chemistry has been getting less and less each episode. I don't know why, thats just how it feels to me. Like the latest episode specifically.. To me personally, they felt more like affectionate best friends than they did boyfriends. I don't know why, I just didn't feel it this episode sadly..
I love them though and I'm interested enough in the storyline that I will keep watching.

The office politics - Wow that is super fucked up. I can't believe the other women would do that after she tried to protect them all! If I was one of those women, I would not be able to live with myself if I went along with that. I definitely would've been pissed off I had continued watching and got to that point! I'd ask how can you manage to put the blame on someone who was sexually harassed themselves, but sadly that happens in real life so it's definitely not a stretch..

Yes he is such an amazing actor. I've only seen a couple episodes of both series so far, but he is amazing. He is one of those actors who can act with just their eyes and you would be able to tell what the character is feeling. I'm always so awed by actors like that. He definitely one of my favorite Korean actors now alongside Lee Do Hyun and Rowoon. I've only seen both of them in one series as well, Lee Do Hyun who I watched in 18 Again, and was blown away by his acting, and Rowoon who I watched in Tomorrow. That was such a hard series to watch, but he did a phenomenal job! I have a couple other series I want to watch with them as main characters, I just have so many series I want to watch that I haven't gotten to them.

Yeah I love when I can have an adult conversation with someone with a different POV than me. It can sometimes even make me change my point of view on something if they point out something I didn't think of. I really enjoy these types of conversations.
I will never understand why people get so angry about someone's opinion like it's the end of the world that they don't agree with you 🙄 For example, I am watching a Thai series called Only Friends right now and while I am lucky to not have come across assholes yet, someone I follow on twitter gets hate alot when they post their theories/opinions after the latest episode has aired. Apparently from what some people said, there is like wars on twitter over theories and opinions. Again thankfully I've never had to deal with that, but I just don't understand people's mindset and why they take some things so personally.. It baffles me lol

Putting it that way it, that actually makes alot of sense. Thank you for giving your POV of this, that helped clear that up for me 😊

Yeah I got that impression as well it just also seemed like he didn't believe in it so him believing in the soulmate thing just didn't make sense to me.

Overall, the story was really cute, and definitely my favorite so far, but I thought Ep2 had a some random moments that really weren't needed. A couple times I was like 'what is happening..' Also, I'm sorry, but personally I found Emmy super annoying most of the time! However, I definitely prefer this type of female character to the 'evil woman' character that can't take no for an answer, that they have in series a lot of times.
One thing I didn't understand is how Bud kept making it seem like he didn't understand why people believed his mom or like she was conning people, but then believed wholeheartedly that if he met someone 3 times they were his soulmate. I must have misunderstood something, otherwise it just didn't make complete sense.
The other thing that didn't make sense is if Fong is pursuing Bud, the meetings are not a coincidence so he wouldn't have had anything to worry about it anyway. Also, the first time he ran into Korn hiding from Fong, that was a coincidence it's not like he knew he would be there, so I don't understand why that wasn't counted..
Overall, I really love the story and think this is the best one so far, however I do think it could have been better. These two are super cute though!! I'm holding out hope they get a different series together 😊

The scene where Shang Zhou is trying to get Shun Yu to go to sleep and Shun Yu finally lays down and lays his head on Shang Zhou's arm. He starts talking and it becomes sort of a murmur and those are the subs Gagaoolala has during that mumbling part 😆 Its at about 9m23s.

Yeah thats what I was thinking too. It looked like they were in front of train tracks though and with the look on that guys face part of me wondered if maybe he commits suicide by jumping in front of a train.

I loved the first episode so much! I also really love how unapologetically himself Amane is 😊 That one glimpse of his past though, has me very curious about what happened. I'm guarding my heart because it seemed really sad..

I felt very meh about this special. I didn't hate it and it was cute overall, but some parts just kinda disappointed me.
I thought it was stupid to have Lom's mom show up at the beginning of this, but not have her show up at the wedding. We honestly didn't learn anything new having her in the beginning scenes of this. She basically was there to reiterate what we already knew at the end of the series, that she was slowly coming around to his and Nuea's relationship.
I thought the point of that was going to be that she was going to show up later and show her support at their wedding, but her not being there was glaringly obvious and made me feel like the beginning scenes with her were completely pointless. I get that she's not the focal point of the story, that their wedding is, but she is still an important point. To not have her there at the end is bad writing in my opinion, they may as well just not put her in this special at all.
In my opinion there should have been a scene of her receiving a wedding invitation or Lom telling her about his proposal/wedding plan. They could have then showed her reluctance about the relationship still, maybe even have her show up late to the wedding, but have her still show up there to be supportive despite how she feels.
That was my biggest issue with this. The one other part I didn't like was the proposal scene. I thought it was very strange to have Nuea look all upset after Lom's proposal. I understand it was supposed to build tension or something with the audience, but it just looked really weird to have him look upset and then all of a sudden get happy and say 'Yes I'll marry you.'
It's different to have someone tear up out of joy and then say yes, but Nuea genuinely looked upset borderline mad and like he was going to tell Lom no, so it was very weird to me.
Overall as I said, I didn't hate this and I thought most of it was cute. Personally though, I don't think this special is worth paying for.

I want to watch this so bad 😫 I prefer watching it from a legitimate source though, so I really hope someone picks it up soon!!

I'm super happy to see that Jung Hae In is the ML 🥰 As I said in my previous comment, I really loved what I saw of his acting in this so I'm glad to already have found something else of his to watch!
Aside from the currently airing series I'm not watching anything else, cause I usually watch a completed series along with all the currently airing ones, so I'll be able to start One Spring Night in the next day or so 😊

Wow, I feel like I dodged a bullet with this one then lol. I'm glad I decided not to watch it because if I had actually spent my time watching this and two of the major issues (the mother and the office creeps) got shitty resolutions I would have been so angry!
If you're going to have a parent be that terrible then you need to have them have a good Redemption Arc or have the main character cut ties because otherwise why put the character/audience through all that just have have it essentially go nowhere??
So none of the creeps at the office get in any trouble at all? Does nothing change at the office? Cause if so, that's super fucked up and again would have pissed me off.

In the 3 episodes I watched I definitely felt a baby spark with her towards the ML so I feel like at least in the beginning she felt something for him. I could see though how it could be her loving being loved. She literally just got out of a relationship where she was essentially called plain and boring, so its not a huge leap to say she could've latched onto him because he was treating her so well. That's not to say she couldn't have develop real feelings for him then, but if that is how she acted later [especially the ending with not missing anything about HIM], her actions definitely sets off some red flags.
For me, his feelings for her and how he treated her in the beginning were definitely what had initially pulled me into this series. He was super sweet and so damn cute and I loved watching her slowly falling for his charms despite her reluctance. Their mutual love for eachother despite the obstacles that they were going to have to face was another reason why I was interested in this drama. Its very disappointing to know she takes his love for granted and that she basically takes advantage of his feelings for her, even if unintentionally.

Some good things that did come out of me starting this drama.
One: I do still love their relationship in the first 3 episodes. It's super cute and sweet and feels very real with how people are when you like someone and are afraid to say it.
Two: because of this series I was introduced to Jung Hae In 🥰🥰 He is so adorable and I really love his acting. It's his acting in the hand holding scene and the talk afterward that make me love those scenes so much ❤️❤️

I really appreciate you breaking down and explaining alot of what happens in the rest of the series. It put to rest the last few doubts I had about dropping this series. I also appreciate you being so nice to me despite our initial disagreements. Some people can be assholes about the stupidest things, so I appreciate you giving your point of view/opinions to help me see another perspective without being mean to me 😊

Yeah I thought that was weird as well. As you said, I thought it was a culturable thing, but you make valid points. It is weird that the ML, who is younger than her, has his own place. Yet she, who can't stand her mother constantly in her business doesn't, despite seeming to have a decent career... Very odd lol. I feel like they had that in just so they had an excuse for the mom to always be around.
Also yes, the sister.. I didn't mind her character, but she definitely doesn't understand boundaries. I know part of it, based on my limited 3 episode knowledge, is because they lost their parents and only have each other. Still though, just coming into his house whenever she wants is extremely rude..
