I'm actually fancying the moustache 😅 but I agree that it looked fake af, at least they should consider let…
Yeah thats how I feel. I like the moustache I just don't like how fake it looks. I really hope for S2 that they either have him grow facial hair or find a more realistic looking fake moustache. I'll watch season 2 regardless but, something more realistic looking would be less distracting lol
Just finished episode 7 and oh my gosh.. This series is beyond amazing so far!! Definitely one of the best series, at least so far, of 2023!
Still confused if there is going to be a romance for Dan or not though. Its clear Nai likes him, but so far he seems to just see him as a friend. I personally dont think there is anything wrong with a series having no romantic plot, its not always needed, but they sort of hinted at it in the trailer so I'm just mostly curious if it'll develop into that between Nai and Dan.
Although with the twist his "relationship" with his shadow has taken who knows 😆 Seriously though, this shadow is so confusing! In the beginning of the series it tries to drown Dan in the pool. Then a couple episodes in, the dad episode I believe, it seems to comfort him in his dream of when he was a kid. Now, its getting him off in his sleep... Seriously, what the hell does this thing want??
I'm so intrigued and on the edge of my seat with this series! I'm dying for the last 7 episodes 😫
I loved this series so much! I loved how real all the characters felt and the roller coaster of emotions this series put me through. The plot was very well done and it was one of the few series this year that did a great job with the flow of the series so almost nothing felt random or added just as a time filler. Everything just seemed to slot into place in the final episode, so for me it had a very satisfying ending. There were a couple minor things though, that bothered me:
First, I love that Nick chose to love himself and stopped letting his love for Ton rule him, but I wanted to know his ending with Dan. Dan was definitely an important character because he is what helped Ton realize that he missed / was losing Nick, so he definitely didn't feel like a random side character addition. What bothered me is that after he helps Ton and Nick, once Nick tells him he's doesn't think he's ready for a relationship Dan just disappears. Even if they didn't get together at the end of the series I was expecting him to show up at some point, but unfortunately he didn't.
Second, Boeing. Once again he was definitely an important character because he had a role to play with each of the couples. He helped Top and Mew get back together, he helped strengthen Sand and Ray's relationship, and he's who breaks up Ton and Nick which in turn helps wake Nick up to loving himself more. However, his disappearance felt kinda random. On one hand it makes sense because both TopMew and SandRay were very clear in their scenes that they wanted nothing to do with him anymore, so I feel like he knows it would be a waste of time to bother them anymore. And with Ton, they were clearly just a one-time hookup, it didn't feel like they had any sort of real connection so him latching on to Ton wouldn't really make complete sense either. However, his disappearance just, I don't know, felt a little weird. With the way his character is I could have seen him bothering them some more or being upset that he didn't get what he wanted. When I saw the fire in the preview, I legit thought Boeing started it because he was pissed off. Another small gripe related to Boeing is that I really would have loved to see a flashback to Boeing and Sand's relationship and how TopBoeing happened. With how much animosity was between Top and Sand, I just expected a flashback at some point to explain it. Especially considering later they start saying that Boeing left Sand for Top so unless Top was flirting with Boeng while he had a boyfriend, it's not really his fault. It just would have been nice to get a flashback explaining all of this because it wasnt very clear.
Overall as I said the series was beyond amazing the few complaints I had were very small so they barely bothered me. I'm so glad I watched the series and I'm actually kind of sad that it's over. I wouldn't mind a S2, but at the same time I'd be worried they would ruin SandRay, so I think I would prefer a spin off or something with Mix as the main character since he had a cameo in the last episode.
That is the behind the scene which is up to 9 on Gaga, not the show itself.
For me it was the actual show that wasnt showing episodes 10 or 11. I know for sure because I was clicking the banner on the home page that says it was updated to episode 11. It seems to have fixed itself now though.
Am I the only one whos Gagaoolala is only showing up to episode 9 now?? I've closed and reopened the app multiple times and it only has till episode 9.. I checked online and it shows 10 and 11 when I'm not logged in, but when I log in episodes 10 and 11 arent there again. I just rewatched episode 9 and 10 yesterday so I'm very confused why those episodes arent showing up..?
I loved these episodes so much! This is definitely my favorite in the series so far! The two actors have great chemistry and I really hope to see them in a series together in the future 😊
I love how dirty minded, and not shy about it, that Jeng is! Jeng is seriously the best, the ending between them was so amusing 😆 The part when Jeng said 'If you spray me, I'll spray you with something else' I was like excuse me?? 🤣🤣
The one thing I didnt like though, was that the attempted SA was glossed over. I hate that Noll tried to SA Meen, yet when he goes to break up with him later he doesnt confront him about it. He is more worried about showing proof that Noll was cheating. If someone tried to SA me, the cheating would be that last thing I would care about. I would never get back together with someone who tried to do that to me! It also felt a little out of character that Noll just backed off when Meen begged him to go their separate ways. Not that I wanted anything to happen, but with how crazy Noll acted I fully expected someone to have to beat some sense into him to get him to back off!
Other than that one small issue, these episodes were amazing 😊

I just finished binging the series and while this isn't the best series out there, it's definitely not the worst. It had a good mesh of cute/serious moments, the main leads had good chemistry, and it had a pretty good plot that kept my interest even if I did think Eden's background was a little weird.. Their acting could use a little bit of improvement, but I thought they did a really good job for this being their first series.
I wont lie and say I'm not a little disappointed though. I was super excited for this, and again they did do a good job, however to me this was a little rushed. Parts of the story werent fleshed out enough because they just didnt have the time to. I really feel like if these episodes had been at least 30 minutes long each this series would've been better. The ending also felt super rushed because of this and sadly the confession scene fell flat for me. Part of it may been due to the acting, because to me I just didn't feel the chemistry in that specific scene between them. I definitely felt chemistry in other scenes, but for some reason I just didn't feel it in that one, so the confession just felt slightly awkward. To me, it felt less like two people confessing their love for each other and more like two actors reading lines... Another part of why that scene may have fell flat, for me at least, is because I didn't understand why Jihoon didn't go outside during Hyunbin and Eden's confrontation scene outside his apartment. Maybe I just misunderstood something, but I thought it was obvious that Eden was basically confessing or at the very least wanted to talk to him. He didnt believe that Hyunbin and Jihoon got back together and was basically refusing to leave unless he could hear it from Jihoon himself. I just didn't get why after hearing their talk that he says 'Sorry. I love you.', and then suddenly it's the next day at an event and now they're in different dressing rooms not talking. Again maybe I misunderstood something, if so please explain it to me because none of that made sense to me. I fully expected him to storm outside of his apartment, put Hyunbin been in his place, and for the confession to happen then.. It happening right before an event, where they have like five seconds to be happy about their mutual feelings just, again, fell flat..
Lastly the kiss.. I'm not one to really care if there's a kiss scene in a series or not, I've watched plenty without them that have been super cute and I have loved them. I also have to commend them for kissing at all because honestly I didn't expect them to. However, I just thought it kind of sucked that the only kiss they had was a drunken kiss that only one of them remembers.. If they only felt comfortable / only wanted to do one kiss scene, personally I would have been okay waiting to the end of the series and have it happening after their confession.
Overall, despite my complaints I did really enjoy this series. This series may not have been perfect, but I do think that it was pretty good especially for their first acting roles. While it may not be high on my re-watch list, I could definitely see myself re-watching this and I definitely recommend people check it out!
I thought this story was really good and had some super cute moments! The main leads were so adorable together! I gave it an 8 because the end felt a little bit rushed and there were choices made that didn't make complete sense to me. There were also certain plot points that I don't feel were explained/explored enough. The other thing was, I really wanted his senior to have some karma handed to him and Shi On winning the lead role was not enough for me lol Regardless, overall I really loved this!
You'd think he would remember that time it tried it drown him in the pool but 🤷♀️😆

Yeah, I understand. I had that happen with a different series.
The plot was very well done and it was one of the few series this year that did a great job with the flow of the series so almost nothing felt random or added just as a time filler. Everything just seemed to slot into place in the final episode, so for me it had a very satisfying ending.

Thank you for giving your take on that, it makes me feel better about how they did that scene now.
