I was on episode 7 of season 1 and then I put it on hold. Can I skip the first season and just watch season 2 ? I know this question has been answered so many times before and everyone might feel annoyed already but I’m still hoping that someone would be kind enough to let me know 🥺
1. I love the fact that our fl is one smart and realistic girl. The way she addressed Ml’s actions before that confession was so good to watch. Fortunately She’s not the typical damsel in the distress, overly emotional fl or else it was unlikely for her to choose the seemingly uninterested Ml who protects her secretly over a guy who is always around her doing ‘things’ to pursue her.
2. Jungwoo is our green flag ml who may not seem to have typical kdrama ml charms because he’s not so assertive and a bit passive. But I think he’s just the man our fl needs in her life. The way he seems to accept her every decision ( like in that date scene when she nearly rejected him he was sad but calm and understanding at the same time) is his biggest quality. So for a girl like Do hae yi who is overly responsible and independent for her age and despite having their mom she seems to be the breadwinner of the household, jungwoo seems to be the better match. Also DHY seems to have a lowkey unhealthy obsession with being rich or earning money ( poor girl, have so many responsibilities in such a young age). So being with a simple guy who doesn’t prioritize money and can show her that money isn’t always necessary to be happy is a better choice than a rich kid who always have a mindset that money solves everything!
3. Also it looks like the fl needs to comfort/ take care of the emotional wound of the sml when she already have emotional baggage of her own. But when she’s with the ml, he heals her with his words and actions (like that one scene when they were talking about being poor and having a relationship, his words soothed her). Surely the writer of this drama is guilty of giving them relatively lesser scenes together but these scenes and conversations have their depth whereas fl+sml scenes appear to be kind of superficial.
I don’t know! These are just my thoughts and I just hope they keep our Jungwoo alive ( my boy is such a husband material, taking responsibility for everyone, concerned for everybody’s protection but his own 🥺🥺) please keep him safe… I have too many kdrama traumas 😭
So happy to see many positive reviews on “Remember”. Uri Nam Joo Hyuk really shines in everything he does. ❤️ Can’t wait to watch the movie when it gets subbed!
I love Young Woo and Joon Ho as a pair but Idk why I’m also low-key shipping Young Woo with Myung Seok (Kang Ki Young) :3 He’s so sweet and supportive towards WYW unlike most of the “senior colleague/boss”characters. My heart gets warm every time he glances over WYW when any adversity appears in the courtroom to make sure she’s okay. And that time in ep3 when he refused to take the case cause the parents wanted WYW out of the team 🥺❤️ It feels like he becomes much more considerate when it comes to WYW.
Again we can’t blame him, can we? Uri Woo Young Woo is so adorable that even the female lawyer who was initially rude can’t help cheering for her now🥰
