I've passed this up time and time again but there is no good horror out right now in spooky season (please correct me if im wrong, the scarier the better), and I like it. Yes the cgi is bad, but the acting and story are good. The cgi makes it kinda campy in a way...Im into it ;)

Sure I give her a pass by not caring about what she did when she was young and dumb. For one she was already judged very harshly, and clearly still is, and two it has absolutely nothing to do with the choices HE made as a grown 30+ year old man.

The frontal lobe is not a free pass but it is a scientific explanation on why people under 25 make stupid decisions, and why people older than 25 should be more responsible for the decisions they make. She still got consequences for ALL the decisions she made, devastating consequences.

My point relates back to the optics of the relationship. He was over 10 years older than her, when she was only 19, he was rich, and a senior in their shared occupation. This power imbalance statistically results in a very unhealthy relationship whether he did anything illegal or not. He, the one with the power in the relationship, 10 years older should have never pursued it in the first place. He was fully capable of walking away at anytime, fully capable of never starting it, knowing it was a bad idea in the first place. He should acknowledge his own choices, as should his fans. She has paid for hers. If he would have made better choices he would never be in this mess in the first place.

No where in any of my comments did I accuse him of a crime. I stated he made bad choices, all on his own that got him here and look incredibly suspicious. He knew her when she was a minor and dated her when she was 19 when he was in his 30s. Choices HE made himself to give netizens all the room in the world to fill in the blanks. What his supporters and his agency still fail to see is even if nothing illegal can be proven in this case those simple facts alone are enough for literally anyone to raise their eyebrows. If he'd at least say, "I should have never dated her, I should have made better choices, I see how it looks and it was an abuse of power," literally any of those would have shown at least some growth but nope...notta. *the other thing that drives me nuts that I was reminded of going through the comments is how much this man infantilized. He was in his 30s, and pushing 40 now. I use to avoid live actions, but since One Piece I have been more open to try them. It proved they can be done well, and with this cast I have hope. Definitely will give it a try :)

I just caught up so I didn't realize this was a thing lol. You can clearly see the transformation in her affection. Her status historically is always supposed to be reserved, and her personality has been reserved as well. She also would have never agreed to the horizontal tango, probably more than once (hardly ever happens on the first try) if she wasn't at least a little into it lol. But the romance, like you said, is just a small piece of this drama. You can clearly see the change in her demeanor though, dont know what social media is smokin watching this lol 😆

Just finished ep 42...wow so many happy and devastating moments. The acting by our leads is just perfection. This drama is just pure poetry like a play Lan Xiang would write 🫶. Not sure if I'll wait to binge or keep up got some kdramas about to drop so I may watch it staggered in between...🤔

35 and 36...I'm beyond words, some of the best I've ever seen and I've been watching Cdramas over 20 years...wow.

Yeah that squirming uncomfortable feeling felt very real lol. Even though he is a very attractive man he's not necessarily known for these types of scenes so it was actually pretty precious to watch lol. His shamelessness feels SO real, I love it.

I stopped right at 30 and figured I'd take a break and binge it when it finished. Got too impatient so Im back in this 🙃 lol
