Personally Beyond evil was a bit slow for me ´, and I dropped it because I was bored even though I was blown away by the acting skills of the ML! I liked this one much better, because it made me think so much and even that one plot twist, that so many people disliked (including myself at the beginning) didnt ruin this drama for me.. it even made it more exciting

LOL I just watched the Special Ep and the actor playing Dr. Lee never knew who he was talking on the phone all the time, and at that point he was too scared to ask the director. Finally at Ep 19 did he realize that he was talking to Choi Hong Joo and not to that minister-lady xD

I agree with you, I was also put off when they introduced the brain surgery into the plot, but surprisingly it made the drama much more fun to watch!

She might not be the best actress, but she is not as bad as you just described her (my opinion). I loved her in "ex-girlfriends-Club" even though the rating on mdl is under 8. But the Rating system on MDL is generally very fucked up and not reliable.

But I do think that serious roles suit her better (I loved her in "my wife is having an affair this weekend" and the reason the ML carried that drama is because it was more male centered so obviously he is going to stand out more; nonetheless she was just as memorable as him)

It is very sad that she never picked good scripts, but I have high expectations for this drama... I think she is going to do well here :)

Yess!!! Ahn Eun Jin was fantastic in Hospital playlist and Strangers from hell plus after watching her on Running Man she is funny too!
