I would binge to episode12 or 13 and stop there. It just gets messier and makes you mad
But I didn't really mind that, since their love story was pretty cute. I remember thinking back then that I wouldnt mind if the drama ended after the 12th episode.
I actually did not watch the last two episodes and after reading all the comments (and spoilers *cry*) I think I am gonna pass and let this drama be a fun and sweet memory.
I agree with you on Go Ara...she managed with her sincere acting in this drama to change my mind about her. Lee…
I loved Go Ara even before this came out. I first saw her in Black, where I kinda liked her acting (but her character was a bit annoying) and then when I watched her in Miss Hammurabi (i think i wrote it wrong haha) I completely fell in love with her <3 Didn't really like her role in Hwarang, but that's okay. She is a great actress and I am eager for her next project
Can the actors actually play piano? I was worried about it because most of the time music scenes make me cringe…
Hey there, I am no musician so I dont know how right I am but:
- Go Ah Ra can play the piano ( I think I read that somewhere). But they still used musicians to actually play the piano, since the pieces seem difficult to play. And that goes for the other actors too. They used musicians here too but the editing was done really well so you cant really tell the difference. Without spoiling: there is a little boy too and he is actually playing the piano by himself :)
And on a side note, even though I dont play any instruments I love listening to music and music is a big part of this drama and not just something they put in the background. So that is pretty nice too
idk where else to put this LOL, just my overwhelming opinionsTRUE BEAUTY THE WEBTOON: Back when I was a highschooler,…
It is so funny because I'm coming here after just reading a new chapter that was released today. And I didn't really understand till now why I kept reading, but I guess it really is because of the art style.
I completely agree with you. I started reading it because the description sounded unique and I found the first few chapters really interesting. The story just drew me in and I kinda saw myself in her. "Finally a story about a girl accepting herself" I thought, well I was wrong haha. Just as you wrote, we are 200 episodes in and the female character is still as shallow and superficial as she was in the beginning, maybe even more. She judges EVERY ONE by their looks (every time she sees her bf it's always: "omg how can he be that hot") and it's getting annoying. There is no depth to her.
Then there is this other webtoon (Spirit Fingers): Another story about a girl that is very insecure about herself. BUT wow, the way the author wrote the story is just amazing. The girl's journey to self-love is so beautifully done!! Wish the "True beauty" had also developed in such a direction.
