I loved Go Ara in "Black" and "Miss Hammurabi" :) Her character in "Haechi" was written very poorly so that is not really her fault.

I guess you haven't watched the earlier episodes where all Lee Kwang Soo did was hitting people and getting hit hahaha

I guess I belong to the minority that still likes that drama. I always look forward to it and till now no episode has disappointed me so far. Though if I am honest, I really really hope there are no cliche misunderstandings at the end.

also: ML/FL gets something on the face (preferably near the lips) and is too stupid to wipe it away, so the other one does slowly with a seductive gaze xD

I am loving the bar owner, even though she only appears for a few scenes :( She is pretty awesome, and I kind of ship her with the gangster ( only a lil bit.. he)

Not sure if it is the right time to tell the daughter about her father, when she has been scammed by her boss and now has to pay a huge sum to a creditor, who threatend to harm her family. And on top of that she had to make sure to get every one on board for her movie. I dont think she even thought once about talking to her daughter about the dad and she has no idea, how much this is burdening her daughter. Maybe if she knew, she would tell her. But then it would be hard to make a 16 Episode Drama :D

In what way did she rely on others? Genuinely curious, because to me it didnt seem that way

Did you watch the first episodes? Because I actually liked them, and as you mentioned "Lovely horribly" was really disappointing, but aside from Song ji hyo as a FL (and I like her here better than in her previous drama) there are many things to look forward to in this drama :) And till now I didnt get the "4 charming guys competing for 1 girl" vibe.

He is a fabulous actor! The way he acts with this eyes is just excellent!

I actually did not really expect to be so invested in this drama, but oh god, I just love Son Ho Jun's acting <3 Song ji hyo is also doing a great job! I started this drama because I really adore her and I have to admit that her acting kind of improved (much better than her last project, but that might also be due to better script and direction here). Can't wait for next week! I usually watch dramas once they are complete, but I just couldn't do that with this one.

Same, the brother really did disappoint. If he wanted to leave his family, fine, but he should have done it properly.

Definitely! I have never seen a family drama like this before! Realistic, but not boring; with each character being written so beautifully, even though they are flawed. I seriously had no expectations at all, but this drama ended up in my top ten.

agreed! I watched Andadhun, dangal and dream girl (by ayushman) and I really liked them. But sadly these movies really go unnoticed by the larger audience, though I do think that younger generations are starting to appreciate real movies rather than those big budget, good for nothing movies. I dont know if you have already watched them, but try out Indian web series , there are so many underrated gems!

I dont enjoy watching new Bollywood movies sadly :( They just dont draw me in like they used to, maybe it's because I grew older or because I just dont like their content

Hey, I wasnt talking about your article (which is a great read btw ;) ) I was just referring to the thought of the user about bringing Bollywood content to MDL.

Noooooo pls no Bollywood Movies. I mean sure, the old classics are pretty great on their own, but I still dont want them on MDL, especially not the newer ones ( I am talking about those big budget movies with much hyped Bollywood actors and their 20 years younger actresses, ..)

I have nothing against Indian Web series though because they are very interesting, well written and with great performances. It would actually be pretty cool, if those were represented on MDL

I had to drop it :( The first few episodes were really great, what I loved the most was the FL but I dont know what happened.. the writer just dumbed her down. The ML on the other hand wasnt able to impress me. I am not sure if it's because of the writer or the actor.. I think the latter; it's just that sometimes he acted to cheerfully given the situation.. he would smile and be acting all charming, and that was often very odd. What a pity.
