I like Andor because it’s got espionage, politics, but it’s not for the faint of heart lol. The Empire is scary and competent haha. I’ve watched the first 2 seasons of Mando, but I haven’t caught up since. Might do that soon since there’s apparently a movie too?
This probably would have been a smoother watch if things weren’t so draggy after the midway point. Wish the cast had a better script to work with, but at least not a terrible ending for xianxia.

I generally try not to get super sucked into these online rumors and wars because it just ends up making me and others upset. But I think it’s a good thing for fans to stand up for the people they support - just to be reasonable about it. Hopefully the storm ends soon and we can all move forward happily. I really want to see Deng Wei in an interesting male role like this (assuming they don’t change it like you mentioned in that supposed leaked script), but even if he doesn’t do this drama, I’d still like to watch it since I read the novel.
Finally finished - a beautiful if heartbreaking ending to wonderful show about what can endure the ups and downs in life, in such a world filled with danger, fear and hate. Only love - in all its forms - as enduring as the moon.

It's reminiscent of older, way too long angsty xianxia dramas. I've enjoyed bits here and there, and if you are a fan of Yuxi you can check it out. The first 4 eps or so are kind of a mess, so if you can make it to 5 when their second life starts you can get a better sense of the story.
