The following arc is so far more interesting to me so far. I think the demons from the painting arc were just a bit underwhelming to me, and that was part of the lack in that story

It is a bit slow, I agree, but I like certain aspects of it. I think eps 21-22 are the best of the arc.

There's an iQIYI World Conference next week (4/23). Maybe there will be info then, which would offer some hope for this airing at a decent time in the near future lol. If nothing, I would assume this one is shelved.

Best 2 eps yet of this painting arc. Gets a bit philosophical too. What is real to us vs illusion and the inevitable passage of time. Very fitting to make this illusion-painting world the opposite of what reality is.

Yes, I think King Xinan has to make an appearance at some point. SFL is investigating his disappearance, so it will need to lead somewhere.

I’m enjoying the fun in these eps. I miss the creepy stuff, but this is good too.

I had noticed that beggar and thought, yeah, that lingering shot on him must not be accidental.

I guess the only humans that would bleed red blood are those who were sucked into the painting (real humans from the real world) - hence why XY insists on trying to make the people bleed from the 6 places he's trying to visit (I forget what they are called collectively).
