Yeah, it's a bit of a disaster, I've just finished ep 10. Debating on whether to just hate watch it to the end and write a rant review. Or I could spare my life/time a bit and just drop it.

This show keeps me guessing. Maybe something to do with the story behind the painting...

Yeah, I read about that. Honestly, there are plenty of other "unhealthy" things out there or that come from within humanity.

Ugh, why? I think the great historical/period dramas from C drama land were what made them unique/special. But ultimately, you need actors who can act. I don't care if they are "idol" actors - they can act too. Here, it's been dullsville for me mostly.

It's the same for me. I never watched the original Princess Agents, but just judging this one on its own merit, there hasn't been much greatness (aside from maybe costume and set design) so far.

Yes, you can. It will be a chaotic first 5 or so episodes, but then I think things settle down a bit. It's not the greatest, but I'm going to keep watching.

Yes, agreed! I'm banking on the April 20 iQiyi World Conference to give us something - at least updates on his other filmed dramas.

I'm going to give it some more episodes. The ML hasn't had much to do yet, so I want to see if things pick up by ep 10. Usually I drop a drama at that point if it doesn't give me more by then.

Angsting is underway, but I'm glad things are becoming clearer now as we head into the final 1/3 of the drama.

Having never watched Princess Agents (I know, shocking), it was very difficult to watch the first 5 episodes. I don't feel a connection to any of the characters - there's too much going on but nothing to hang onto for me at an emotional level. Right now, I just want Chu Qiao to survive and get back at all these crazy people lol.

This was filmed back in 2023. His roles since have been the male lead.

Getting more and more confused lol, but also I think after watching ep 15 preview, I'm beginning to guess what is going on. If the illusion is the star stone's illusion, its/his goal is to reveal the truth that was missed at these 3 major time points/catastrophes. At least that's what I'm getting.

This illusion arc is getting more complicated. Can’t wait to see how it resolves (I hope it gets resolved at least).
