Unfortunately no updates on this one. It’s not even in the iQiyi 2027 list. So more time in iQiyi dungeon for now.

I’ll always hope to see this one because it’s a chance to see Deng Wei in a non-fantasy and more grounded political period drama.

C drama land is always unpredictable. Maybe just maybe we’ll hear more about this in the months to come. There’s always Scream Night…

Although there wasn't enough build up for the Zheng family, the Ep 24 wedding was a nice culmination of the various story strands for this arc. Cannot wait for Lanxiang and Lin Jinqi's next chapter!

I didn’t see this drama on the previous list of series that will be presented at the iQIYI conference.
There is of course no way to know what would be released until that day. It’s not something I tend to worry about too much as it’s not in one’s control. But it can fun to anticipate and be pleasantly surprised to see what is released.
