Oh my god, can we get rid of that useless, extremely dumb Lu Chui Chui? There is nothing cute about her and if…
Yeah, I'm afraid I cannot stand her character either. There's also nothing interesting to me about that crazy Lai guy falling for her. It's too comical (to me at least) for someone like him with someone (dumb) like her.
Just a bit past half-way with this drama, and I'm enjoying it for what it is - something nice to pass the time. It's not super compelling, but there's nothing horribly wrong with it either for me. But I agree, our leads need a true heart-to-heart soon or else the slooooow burn is going to snuff out completely for me lol.
How's this on the latest episodes?I couldn't watch beyond 4.
I liked ep 14. Ep 15 is the lowest for me so far - trying to make some drama between the leads but in a clumsy way that makes the FL in particular seem out of character, reckless and ungrateful. But maybe ep 16-17 smooth that out, I haven't seen them.
Really liked ep 14. Ep 15 not so much. Writing is uneven just to drive the plot sometimes. But I think both leads are performing well - just wish had some better stuff to perform with lol (meaning the script).
Two episodes in, and while this is a very typical period idol production (and not a fan of the dubbing), I think I'll stick with it. The story is reasonably engaging and has my favorite trope - get married first and fall in love later.
