Just finished ep 30, it’s definitely still quite interesting and far from a crash and burn, so I’d keep watching until the end

Too bad I have work today, will have to catch up and watch tomorrow. Seems like the ending is a cliffhanger?

Just started this. Never thought I’d be interested in watching a ML interacting with a CGI bird lol, but it’s been a good start!

Episode 15 is a standout to me so far. The actress who plays Gu Shan is excellent.

This has been really fun so far, the cases are relevant and engaging, the pacing is just right, and I’m enjoying all the side characters in addition to the main cast.

Really enjoyed the tension between both leads in these earlier eps. Now that her suspicions are mostly dealt with, I also hope he can figure out soon who she really is and see where their story goes from there.

Yes, I believe that is the new rule. I think LYF was filmed before the rule became official (I could be wrong), hence the uncertainty about when it will come out. It does look like more likely summer at this point, however.

Also, whose sword was she cleaning at the end? It looked like TSY’s and different from the one she used to kill CQ.

Welp, that’s the end. I’m going sit on this a bit before my review because all I can think of right now is how much I hate the ML.

Although ep 33-34 turned into the Lin family soap opera, I like seeing how wise Qi Yu is even at such a young age. And Zhenbei army always doing the right thing, bless them. Previews for tomorrow scare me but I’ll watch until the bitter end.

Dude, Nanxia court is a mess. What does prime minister Lin think he’s doing? I really liked his scenes in the first half of the drama. Now he’s turned into a dumb villain. It’s like after episode 20-something they just gave up and decided let’s write the most egregious fan fiction version of this story. Amai needs to get far far away and take her army buddies and Xiu’er with her.
