The opening arc was a bit slow for me, but I feel like it was the case in season 1 as well, took a while for me to really settle in. But once things get started, it really lights up. :)

I'm guessing LYF S2 will come out first this summer, then maybe the one with Li Yitong and Joseph Zeng later this year.

Rewatching S1 again, it is rather heartbreaking to see the young Cangxuan and Xiaoyao in ep 1, how pure their love for each other is and knowing what is to come for them in S2...also I had forgotten how stunning the music was.

Yep, I think if they could have brought in Haoyue earlier into the story with more to do it would have been a more satisfying climax. But I guess ran out of time lol

Yep, some continuity errors for sure.

I have one more to go. I feel like this one could have used more episodes to really finesse the palace/Haoyue storyline. Too rushed. And I’m usually all for shortening dramas…

Finally get to watch the rest. After a bit of a lull, finally alls strands of the story are coming together in Ep 35.
