im having mixed feelings about the mother in law, because she started off being so picky with xu yan and taking her for granted. but their relationship got better after a while, but it was still obvious that the mother in law was really working xu yan with all her problems that she doesn't want to handle herself. but in the recent ep 17 where after xu yan leaves them and takes on the tiring job of live streaming, she buys all her goods to support her and even attacks the other aunties and fang lei for looking down upon xu yan.
im starting to think there is a backstory to her? of maybe she just missed xu yan and finally realises it.

from the trailer, basically all of the scenes linked with the novel. they really nailed the scenery, it's magestic

im super curious to see how the handle the situation with chen chen, he is so young and innocent, would they tell him the truth? 😭but i feel like if they don't tell him then it's very incomplete(in terms of the plot of the drama). and at the same time the fact that he isn't related to shen hao ming's family also feels a bit off(i don't think plots normally do that, they normally want a very wholesome ending, but this drama is very unique). it would be alot more comforting if chen chen was related to be honest. it doesn't really matter if he was the ex's kid with shen hao ming, he is so pure and cute.

ikr, i can't pinpoint what exactly draws me in so much about this drama, even though it's amazing, but like there are so many amazing dramas out there, but i've never been this obsessed.

i also had a theory that adds to this, what if fanglei was the one who killed her own sister??? i know this is insane but it seems like something she would do considering she is literally crazy. she'll do anything to get haoming, it could be a reason why she convinced her sister to keep the baby, so she can have a reason to keep in touch with him and the "unbreakable link" to him that she always talks about.

i personally tend to skip during parts that are not important or i find boring in most of the dramas that i've watched, but for this drama i honestly haven't skipped a single second. im actually in love with the speed of the scenes, the plot, and the acting. it's gotten to the point that im not even jumping over the ost because i want to cherish every second of the episodes because only 2 eps are released every day. 😭

it's so funny! shen haoming's expression was priceless

ep 3 is still very early, so it's normal to not feel it yet haha. but basically xu yan actually loves shen haoming, but u'll find out later in the drama that shen haoming's feelings are not real(or at least he hasn't realised his feelings until later on), his reasons for marrying xu yan were not pure, so both of them lied to each other in the marriage.

the ending ost is sung by shan Yi chun if anyone is interested. she is a super popular young singer who became famous after attending a show when she was just in university. her songs are all so good 🥰🥰🥰

xu Yan has lost all the hope in her relationship with hao Ming, she wants to basically tie the lines for fang lei and him so she can get her freedom. I think she believes fang lei and haoming has something going on from what fang lei said about that day of her birthday. it’s pretty funny fang leis expression at the 180degree change in xu yans attitude toward her. also that specific ring represents love and xu Yan giving it to fanglei would mean she wants to give hao ming to her
