saw in a clip that when xu yan leaves haoming, the mother in law and everyone in the family suffered a loss too. because xu yan takes care of EVERYTHING, so the mother in law's parties or even just meals weren't how she likes them because xu yan isn't there to make sure everything is perfect for her and her firends.
but thats such a small punishment compared to how much xu yan suffered

even though nothing happened between haoming and fang lei, but the fact that he carried her 😑😔😠

in an interview William Chan said at first he was really hesitant with accepting this role, as CEOs in romance dramas are really difficult to act, and often if actors try too hard they become very "oily".
i think william really brought this character to life, at first hao ming was definately the best and most thoughtful and caring husband but as the episodes progesses, the feeling that he is always watching and uncomfortable tension starts to show. he nailed it!

But i think the main reason ML chose xu yan is because her presentable job, her ability to help his career and building his assets, which fang lei isn't really good at(ep 12). xu yan is able to find ways to win people over even if it's very planned at the start, she is very genuine.

i saw somewhere that shen hao chen finds out about xu yan's lies before she divorces shen hao ming, but he never told anyone because he really likes xu yan. the kid is so adorable. im so curious if he is actually shen hao ming's child with his ex or if there is another plot twist.

hopefully 😭, imagine another plot twist, i can't handle it....

When fang lei's sister died she was really upset though(idk if she was acting) but at the same time she speaks about her sister's death so casually, and uses it to draw haoming's attention. idk what to think anymore 😭

i honestly can't handle Lin Tao anymore, how he is real. it's impossible to talk any sense into people like him, even simple communication with him is so difficult.

xu yan is actually so resilient and out of this world, she has so many duties and things to do, and new problems just keep happening.

I had that thought too. because in the flashback scene of haoming's ex making the tomato sauce and honey combination, fang lei was already looking at haoming in a romantic way. Which is not normal considering he was with her sister at that time. So she would have been definately jealous and that probably made her commit the murder.

the novel was soo good, im still not over it.

im also super scared what they are going to do with the part where jin zhao lost his leg in the crash T T
it was so difficult reading his struggles after that, he already went through so much, he definately didn't deserve it. hopefully they get rid of that part from the drama

i personally think he fell for her really early on. he's just in denial and hasn't realised yet. there are some scenes where it's pretty obvious

i mean xu yan just helped him win Mr Huang's time, so even if he doesn't have feelings for her or wants to see her struggle, he should still help her to return the favour😁

The novel is still one of my favourites, i can't wait for this drama. From outfit to style, He Yu definitely matches what i imagined Jin Zhao to look like 🥰. In the novel Jiang Mu had short hair when she was in school, but Esther still looks amazing.

qiao lin's scene are mainly funny ones, i enjoy them to be honest

oh my gosh 😭😭😭 the grandma is honestly such an amazing character. she makes up for the horrible parents xu yan has.
