interesting to know, even if they lose, I still wanna see a good battle🫠🫠

I liked ep 2 even more than ep 1. I just really hope they don't make SML like the FL, I already dislike 'love triangle' but that would be weird and very unffiting to me with the main plot (and ML plus SML being cousins, friends, allies). okay false alarm, just saw ep 3 preview. it shouldn't happen😅😅

I've been pretty bored and uninterested for many eps, but damn eps 31-32 made me cry a lot😭😭. everytime there is father-son or it's related to LIP, it makes me emotional. that drama and their love story broke my heart back then. I really feel like my experience of watching Sword and Beloved would have been different if I hadn't watch LIP. The love and romance I felt the most in the entire fox spirit Matchmakers franchise is definitely the leads from LIP. the 3 main reasons I started watching this dramas :
- father-son relationship -> feel like it could have been better written for some parts (I am gonna explain in my review)
- the romance between the leads -> that was personally a miss unfortunatly. not watching for this anymore
- to see the black fox ending -> pretty much why I am still watching now and the actors since they are doing good, I wanna see how the story ends. hope we get a good last battle 🙌🙌

still an okay watch to me, definitely have flaws and all, but it’s not boring me. I am still watching daily and it’s keeping me more interested than some recent drama

the leads dating era lasted 1 ep, looks like from previews for nexts eps, the leads should be separate for at least 4 eps🤔🤔watching the leads romance is a bit awkward, but some moments still make me smile. we’ll see later on. these kind of kiss they do in some dramas always look awkward. a shot of a few second, standing there, no movement, barely lips touching. don’t know why directors do this

it’s not doing good for any side couples either😅
- Chu Ling Yiang and Song Qing Ping : she keeps trying and he keeps rejecting her…. from ep 27 preview, maybe some development incoming
- Chu Jin and Song Wen Chang : it’s over for now. It’s good he wants to do something with himself and everything he said to her, but her side can still be understandable. with seeing her parents and the dad die on the battlefield, she knows the reality of a military wife
- the princess and traitor : I liked how she stood for her country and all, no mercy even if she probably likes him (well yes couldn't kill him, but at least she was getting him arrested). too bad bro came back (and how ahaha he left arrest but back free 2 sec later). now gonna be kidnapped and on the move
- Gu Chu Sheng is divorced and gonna try to get FL back🤦‍♀️

If the drama airing on IQIYI is originally from another plateform (Tencent or mangotv), express is not gonna be on IQIYI, which is understandable (for example Viki is just streaming from all the plateform and doesn’t have express either). this happened a few times : legend of the female general, Si Jin, love never fails,... there has to be others, the names are not coming to me😅😅 for the iQIYI dramas, I have always seem express for the ones I watched

TJOL was coproduce with Tencent I think, did they had the main rights on the drama, maybe. Express was only on Tencent/Wetv. This is purely an iQIYI drama, normally it should have express, we’ll have to check again on Sunday 😅

or it’s Sunday 🤔🤔if we look at the calendar, it definitely should be before the 3 days without eps. it’s weird that iQIYi changed its usual schedule for this drama. hope it’s not gonna be like this now for future dramas. this is one of the things I like the most with iQIYI, the consistency of 6 eps at the beginning, 6 eps at the end and in between 2 eps every day

iQIYI aired 5 eps on the first day instead of the usual 6 eps, it’s maybe gonna be 5 eps too at the end

When he got out, back home and he told his mom he had to go somewhere…. I was like wtf are you doing? I knew it would go down. Bro was so stupid in these last few eps though, from the fake confession of murder to this. He is still a kid and in love, but like.

Other than the parents, feel bad for Gan E too, he tried his best to save him, most have felt guilty not being able to save his mentor’s son

I am done. I think it wrapped up fine. but the last part at the end… hospital scene. so he found out who is the killer, but forgot just before saying it. damn. to finish, why the hell was he eating the lipstick though 😅

ep 19 : we all knew the confession would go down like this. ML is ready to fight for their love, I hope we really see FL do the same later, if not that would feel disapointing

Some scenes make me cringe😅😅 the villagers or close to the end, all of them coming back. them walking with the sunset behind that look so fake. that wasn’t necessary 🙈

now FL bro definitely knows and some of the others too. the guy from the arsenal bureau is funny. anyway today's eps already over, I am still pretty much enjoying this drama even with the flaws
