Quite a few of these drama tag as romance (romance & traditional costume tags on Wetv) barely as any romance. it's better to watch with low expectations on romance

yeah pretty much agree and they way it was filmed, the angles🤷♀️ maybe later we'll get something better, but I don't expect much a good kiss. I don't know, but from what I've seen before in other dramas, personally she's not very good with kissing scenes

finished ep 14. ML was getting close to get more consequences on them, but the emperor is too close to the Meng Family it seems. I like looking at everyone expression. During the court meetings, they were going on the princes. Everytime we saw the second prince in front. I think he had funny expressions, I was like this guy is thinking how this is BS😅😅

today's eps were good. now we have gotten rid of the wife and conubines too. I liked how that went down. The talk between FL & Meng (I think under other circonstances, these 2 could have been good friends), plus the 2 concubines. no fight and calm, it's for the best. I actually feel a bit bad for Meng, she didn't want any of this, just obeying and doing for her family
