Wow, thanks for sharing your perspective from your part of the world. Yes different schools systems have different way of reporting it. I have reported several “suspected” incidents and my administration had always had by back. We always also have to have yearly training on how to go about documenting and reporting. I rather be incorrect and let child protective services handle it than it being true and pretend I don’t see it. I hope that incident doesn’t sour the law for you.

I like Prosecutor Lin. She is aware of her strengths and shortcomings but I wish she would utilize Bai En Yu’s astute and savviness in dealing with juvenile. She easily dismissed his ideas and said he messed things up. Ngl, the last two cases were boring and tame. I guess this is needed since the first three was intense. Grand uncle and Grand nephew…lol

I speak Cantonese but understand Mandarin. Ren Su Xin, Liu Lin and Gao Wei Guang definitely uses their own voice. The line delivery is on point and I don’t need subtitles to understand them. I only had trouble understanding some of GWG’s lines because he has an accent. I think the voice actors are for the supporting roles.

Everyone in the drama uses their own voice. I just always equate Gao Wei Guang’s voice as Dong Hua’s from Eternal Love of dream( voice actor, Zhang Jie). So it’s quite jarring to hear his actual voice, lol

I am very surprised in 2014 China doesn’t have a mandatory reporting of child physical maltreatment. Smh. I worked with children and if there is even single chance of mistreatment, I am by-law, have to report it. Next case, high school shenanigans. Let’s see if my blood pressure will increase lol

I have watched until 8 episodes and it’s a good watch. The first case was based on a real life incident that happened a few years ago in China. Another reason people are not watching because it can be triggering and a difficult watch. The amount of a*buse put on the children by adults are incredible and tragic. For me, I can only consume it a few episodes at time because it just makes my blood boils. The acting are also top-notch. The children did a bang-up jobs.
As expected of Ren Su Xin and Liu Lin, impactful acting. Not use to hearing Gao Wei Guang’s voice, lol. The victim’s mother was a bit too much. I can understand her feelings but to go after the prosecutor, smh. Those kids.!!! Will they reflect and have a redemption arc? Now on to the next case…hope nothing happens to Lu Sheng and that he will turn his life around.
