navigating through the treacherous palace with her 4 sons in tow. It has a bit of comedy but it is heartbreaking and heart warming at the same time.

Barely, it is mostly about political court drama about the Queen trying to survive with her sons .

I have tried watching this drama numerous times but can’t get passed the first episode (not a fan of sageuk genre). But decided to pushed forward because I like Kim Hye Soo. I heard many wonderful things about it🙂and it didn’t disappoint.
I have to say Wow to her phenomenal acting. Under the queen’s umbrella is really has such weighty meaning. I never felt exploited or manipulated when watching her run around the palace protecting her grand Princes whereas the villains are showing their fangs trying to vied for the top position due to their covetousness, greed, selfishness etc.
