The excerpt from episodes 7-8 has just been released on TVING's YouTube channel. I have a feeling the blond guy is going to help them see the clip. Too bad it's not translated, I can't understand Hangeul unfortunately. π On the other hand I do believe it's Sungcheol we see in the excerpt from episodes 7-8. It's going to be just fucking amazing, I can't wait any longer.... ππ
I don't get it, what's so great about it? She's practically in every kdrama of 2025, yet I really don't think she's a great actress. There are hundreds of better ones, and I'm not even talking about the best-known ones, but about her age group.
I'm sitting romance reunion between Jeong Eui and Chae Min after Hierarchy last summer, honestly I hope it gets better. It's literally weird though, the kdrama is still shooting and there's already a release date.
Who do you think could have replaced Hwang Min Hyun as the kid? Honestly, I can think of several young actors. First of all, I would have loved to see Choi Hyun Wook here or even Lomon, Kim Do Hoon, Yoon Chan Young, in short, several actors in this kind of role, even if Hwang Min Hyun is just incredible in his role, but then I love Minhyun's personality so much in real life.
That's the question I've been asking myself all my life. In reality, if you think about it too much, you'll never be able to get out of it. It's better to live your life with 0 regrets and, above all, without asking yourself this kind of unanswerable question.π«°π»
Honestly without lying but there are really quite a few who do not do high school at all is rather thirtysomething, I'm referring to the blond bodyguard of Pi Han Ui, I'm sorry but he is a senior ? You're supposed to be 17-18 at that age and he's 17-18 πππ I'm already having trouble with all the others who would be in their first year of high school roughly 15-16 years old πππ Honestly, apart from the girls who can pass, all the other boys are at least 20-25 and even if they have juvenile faces, they have that adult look about them. When you compare them to a real kid in second or senior year, you can see the difference straight away.
I write a lot of comments, but there's too much to say here. I've rewatched the punch scene, GaMin on Pi Han several times and honestly, I'm shocked, he didn't even move, 0 bleeding, while he was hands in the pocket. He must be terribly powerful, already how others talk about him. Then, just by his attitude, he's the kind of person you've only seen fight once, but everyone knows he's super strong and that, in general, if he fights, it's because it's important. Then I tried to see how the others around him reacted, but none of them were shocked.
So you're telling me that the two boys in the study group, this is their first kdrama? No way, they're so good. Jun is clearly my favorite, he's both funny and kind. He's just incredible, frankly. Is this his first kdrama at the age of 31? Is he just out of prison or what???πππ
I ask again, is this really Lee Jong Hyun's first kdrama? He hasn't shot anything else before. Because it's not possible he's so damn good, even his facial expressions, he's just incredible. When you compare him with the two girls or even Han Ji Eun, who for me is so bad here or even in When The Star Gossip.
As long as they give a satisfactory ending, which should be the school becoming an actual school, with the bullies…
It can be very likely in 4 episodes, Pi Han's defeat, him ending up in prison and the school going back to normal. Everything seems to be on his orders, and once the boss is defeated, no one will want to fight.
I'll share my theory, which I think boils down to one season here. - **First:** Hwang Min Hyun is in military service until December 2025. Even at the end of his enlistment, by the time roles are cast, that alone will take 2-3 months. After that, actors don't usually start immediately after roles are assigned. They may wait 1-2 months before starting shooting. That brings us up to January-February 2026. Then, for shooting and post-production, it shouldn't be too complicated. I'd say it will take 6-7 months, like season 1, which was shot from August 2023 to March 2024. The longest is clearly post-production, which lasted 10 months before the release of the kdrama. If filming starts in January 2026, that takes us to August 2026 (for example), with 6 months of filming, then post-production until August 2026. Come on, we can estimate that post-production will take 8-9 months maximum, which takes us to April-May 2027. That's just crazy, and they're capable of it, remember that WHC season 1 came out in 2022 and nobody was away in the army. I feel like this kind of kdrama takes too long to produce.
**Second point:** Why do I think there's only going to be one season here? Honestly, I haven't read the manhwa or anything, but it doesn't seem to particularly follow the story. For me, it will simply end with Pi Han Ui's defeat, and they won't need to go any further, or there will be another ending. I don't really see material for several seasons. Well, he could have GaMin lose, then put him back up against Pi Han in later seasons, but honestly, what do you want to talk about for several seasons? The grand maximum would be two seasons, but even that would quickly become tiresome with the same thing over and over again. No, frankly, for me, there's only going to be one season here. And even if there is, we'll do a second season, all right. What's going on? GaMin wins, Pi Han loses, what's next? That Pi Han wants revenge or vice versa? To introduce such a strong new character out of nowhere and say: "Well, this is going to be Pi Han's cousin or brother who's out for revenge, he's ultra strong" well, frankly, it's pathetic and could just make the kdrama good or bad, and that's what I'm afraid of with WHC season 2. Well then, they've totally changed the cast except for JiHoon. Even so, I'm well aware that it could go wrong, honestly, and it's running long in the end.
Have your say on whether or not you're considering a second season here.
Away from the drama, Iβm curious, are there really schools like this?! schools with gangs, bullying, harassment,…
No, of course not, and especially not in Korea, but I still don't know why they want to give this school image as if we were in Chicago in a danger zone where there are bullets every 5 minutes. Of course there must be harassment, as in every school in the world, but as shown in the kdr
how can someone look so much like Cha Eun Woo who everybody knows and adores yet I never hear of Minhyun before.…
I've known Minhyun since the kdrama "Live On" and I fell in love with him straight away. He's a great guy you can tell even if I don't know him IRL lmaoo, but he's got this kind and friendly persona and as the VDD said, Minhyun is older than Cha Eun Woo and for me, Eun Woo could never play a role like that, because even though he's younger, he looks older than Minhyun and let's face it Eun Woo's acting level isn't crazy, I'm not saying Minhyun's good but there you go. Otherwise, there's a phrase of Minhyun's that I really like: "I want to be the kind of person who can make people who don't like me, like me."
I can't wait to see Pi Han in combat, honestly I think there will be 2 fights between them here. A first fight where Pi Han is just going to be unplayable and is going to beat GaMin and towards the end at 9-10 ep, there'll be the second fight, but there's still one thing where I have big doubts and that's that if they do several seasons, I doubt Pi Han will get beaten, he's bound to have a trick. On the other hand, if it's just one season, then we'll have our final fight.
I laughed so hard at the scene where they're cleaning up in episode 5. I thought to myself: "Minhyun must have been in heaven filming that" for those who don't know and haven't seen the videos of him on the internet, he's a maniac through and through. For example, if there's a tiny speck of dust, he'll do everything to remove itππππ
What's a shame about this kdrama is that, firstly, it's too short and, secondly, there are some uninteresting scenes that take up too much time + the 2-3min intro, so we're looking at 37-38min per episode.
6:50 a.m. at home, I'm SCREAMING LIKE A CRAZY!!! but I can't wait 1 week for the rest. Episode 6 is crazy, I'm like a crazy person, I'm going crazy. I want to see more blood than fighting, the end of sick I'm crazy. When I see him studying, I'm raging, I want nothing but fighting ππππ Every time I yell at my screen: "GaMin destroys whores" when the other one hurt GaMin's mother. I thought: "Oh fuck, he's going to die!" πππ
I can't wait for the other episodes..... damn, the crazy ending whether it's the fight in the roof or even the right GaMin put to Pied Han, it's madness...
But I'm still shocked by Hyeri's game. When I compare it with "My Girlfriend is Gumiho" and here it's madness, she's improved so much. She's literally freaking me out, it could be unhealthy at times.
Oh my God, I'm so ready. I can't wait, this is going to be amazing!!!! The bath scene is just amazing, the tension and Hyeri plays so well it's crazy. https://youtu.be/sc5FWjh0rbA?si=fsjTAn2ENj9TsTJL
Hyeri's acting is so crazy and she and Soo Bin are so beautiful.
