The casting is just stratospheric say half here are going to croak like the others from season 1. I'm still shocked at how Jo Yu Ri managed to get a role here
In 22 days, the most eagerly awaited season 2 in television history will be released. OMO I didn't see Jo Yu Ri in the cast ! Well, I think she's going to die in the season, so there's no suspense, but it's a sick cast.
Pouazhaa big slap I finished it it was so cool. Yim Si Hwan spectacular you never disappoint ! His friendship with Ho Suk was so funny. I loved both characters. As for Hyewon here, she's just unbearable.
OMO, Daebak I'm so excited here to see it. IU and Byeon Woo Seok together in a kdrama romance... I'm screaming at home right now!!!! The check must have been huge to get the two in a kdrama, especially for IU. Wait, I haven't read the whole thing, but it's a historical kdrama? Fucking disgusting. The disgust in not even 1min...
Wahouuu, I love this kdrama so much it's my favorite, the actors are so nice, there's no one I don't like among the main characters. The chemistry between the two couples is just magnificent. I love Bang à Reum and Chan Hwi so much, they're so beautiful together. When we learn about Chan Hwi's heavy past and why he has trouble loving, it was so sad. I'd love to have more scenes of them together. Honestly, I hope we get a kissing scene between the two of them. Billy Acoustie's OST is so wonderful, it's my favorite here.
Da Rim's whole family is so annoying to watch on screen, and even Da Rim, who was fine at the beginning, becomes increasingly annoying. One thing I'll always have trouble with is her eye operation, which was very quick. I'd have thought she'd have had problems after the operation, but not at all. She's seeing again as if by magic, and no more problems. I don't think that's very coherent, but then again, seeing her blind for 16 episodes would have bored me, I think.
I laughed my ass off at episode 20. He was so funny, Gang Ju is the best character here. He's so funny, when he kept coming back to Da alone, I couldn't stop laughing. Then finally, this money intrigue is about to be over, I was afraid we'd eat 36 episodes on it. Now it's just a question of how it's going to end. I don't think they'll end up in prison. I really hope the relationship between Tae Woong and Da Rim is over because they have no chemistry, I'm just waiting for them to end up liking Gang Ju. I don't expect it to be at the end.
On the other hand, the actors' skins in this drama are indecent. I don't know if they do like TVN added smoothing/whitening filters. I honestly think so. Hwang In Yeop is 33 and has better skin than a newborn child, the same goes for ChaeYeon. Yes they have professional makeup artists but makeup can only do so much.
I'm commenting again because there's too much to say here that I might not be able to say anymore. Honestly, I preferred the first part, I'm more into the youth/love-at-school thing and I thought it was so cute + Haejun's basketball game was so cool. Now, I find that there are things in the kdrama that weren't fully covered, like: "How did Haejun get hurt in the States" "What happened to his biological father" "What did he want in the first place". Others too: "Why did Haejun's mother leave for 20 years?" or "How did Haejun manage to live in the States?" there are lots of questions that haven't been answered, or maybe I've forgotten.
Well, I've only just finished the kdrama because I've been busy. I'll quickly talk about the ending. On the whole it's a drama that I quite enjoyed, what's most unfortunate here is the relationship between Haejun and Dal which only settled towards the end, I would have loved to have them on screen more, they were magnificent. Juwon and San Ha's last scenes are just wonderful, especially the scene in episode 15 where Sanha is waiting for Juwon at the station and kisses him. I thought it was the perfect scene. The OSTs here are very good my favorites are: "Beyond The Sunrise" "All our Days" and "Dreaming On Your Breath". Now I found the ending with Juwon's father and Haejun's mother too rushed and forced for my taste, the drama has a lot of slow scenes. Its casting helps enormously, the two ahjussi are just fantastic. Sanha's father was so funny in the last few episodes. For me, I rate this kdrama 9/10.
