Matthew is wearing so much makeup, it’s insane especially the lips. I don’t understand why he looks 10 times more made-up than the female lead, it’s crazy. I’ve noticed it’s not just in this drama either; Ahn Hyo-seop often has really heavy makeup, even outside of K-dramas. Why are they so determined to make this guy look paler? There are plenty of Korean actors who aren’t whitened nearly as much. Then again, maybe he’s okay with it.

The drama is incredibly boring, but Won Bin-ssi is so cut she has the sweetest smile, a real fairy 🧚🏻

Happy birthday to my guy Chae Jong-hyeop, who was born one day before me.

So the guy replacing Lee Jung Ha somehow managed to land a leading role in one of the biggest K-dramas with a huge all-star cast, even though he’s only got one K-drama to his name — and that was just a supporting role in Bitch X Rich where he honestly didn’t show anything impressive. How the hell is that even possible? The only explanation I can think of is that his father is an agency executive. There are so many people in that country who benefit from their relatives’ reputation, from what I’ve seen. Mediocre actors and actresses keep getting leading roles back to back.

Ha ha, I’m so happy to have been born on the same day as the fairy Zhou Ye that’s why I love this actress so much. 😀

Last week of this amazing K-drama — I’m really going to miss it. I truly hope we’ll get a kiss between Dong Man and Eun A.

Ha ha ha, yesterday I said what? “I really hope we’re going to hear Hwang Dong Man scream his own name again,” and well, guess what? The answer came back VERY quickly. Episode 10: Dong Man confesses, Eun A screams their names.

Thank you, thank you, “WE ARE ALL TRYING HERE.”

I loved the drama’s soundtrack, and my 3 favorites are:

* So Soo Bin — “My Favorite Part”
* ALEPH — “Already Free”
* Sam Kim — “If You Were My World”

It’s impossible to read the comments, there are way too many. It’s so annoying — I keep trying to refresh, but it just makes my phone lag.

The role of Im Ji Yeon is far more complex than that of Heo Nam Jun. Playing two distinct roles in a drama is never easy. HNJ’s role is simply that of an empathetic director. It works well because he has a naturally serious and strict face that makes him believable, but Im Ji Yeon would have performed her role brilliantly regardless of which male lead had been paired with her. She clearly would have delivered either way.
That being said, I completely agree that the two complement each other and help each other shine.
As for Choo Young Woo, saying he was “just decent” in The Tale of Lady Ok is honestly ridiculous. He clearly carried the show. If he was only “correct,” then I can’t even imagine what that would make KJW’s performance. He was so “just correct” that he won the “Best New Actor” award at the Baeksang Arts Awards and the Korea Drama Awards.

Hwang Dong Man, the king that he is! I need another moment where he screams his own name.

People always talk about Lee Jong Suk being jealous, but in the end he’s the one who hit the jackpot. After the drama ends, IU always goes back to the handsome and wonderful Lee Jong Suk, the greatest actor in South Korean history. The game is over. IU’s beauty is beyond description. For me, she’s on the same level as Bae Suzy, even though I’ll stay eternally loyal to Queen Suzy, the fairy queen of the universe. 🧎🏻🙌🏻

OMO OMO, here’s my Hyo Man — you got your moment of glory!!! What a kissing scene, and to think it was his very first one in a K-drama. That scene was insane, HYO MAN HA HA HA 🤣🤣🤣

I never said he wasn’t good here, just that for me, compared to Im Ji-yeon, he’s overshadowed. But honestly, this is his best role since he became an actor. I saw him in October in 100 Memories and it was just catastrophic — he was literally miscast for that K-drama, and a lot of people were complaining about it too.

I put it as my profile picture because the photo looks incredible and gives off a C-drama villain vibe. I like the actor, far from that, but honestly he gets overshadowed in this drama and there’s nothing wrong or malicious about saying that. He’s only been playing lead roles for a short time.
