I wouldn’t write a full review for this drama, but I will leave a comment that reflects my overall opinion.
Honestly, *Our Universe* was a big disappointment for me. The concept had potential, but the execution was really weak. The story is slow and sometimes confusing, and many scenes feel unnecessary. A lot of the time it felt like the plot wasn’t moving forward.
I also didn’t feel very connected to the characters. Their development is limited and some of their decisions are frustrating to watch. The romance lacks chemistry and feels quite forced, which makes it hard to stay emotionally invested in their relationship.
In the end, despite having an interesting idea, the drama never manages to fully use its potential.
My final rating is 2/10, and those two points are only for Taehyung and Woojo, who were the only somewhat enjoyable parts of the drama.✨
HAH HAHAHAHA didn’t I say we’d get the SML going to the United States in the last episode? Damn, I’m way too good at predicting K-dramas—I’m never wrong. 😂😂😂
8 years later and I will never get over it for the rest of my life. It’s literally a love-at-first-sight kind of drama and it’s part of my Top 3 K-dramas of all time. The scene where Lee Jong Suk keeps crying even after the director says “cut” is literally the greatest scene in the history of the film industry. 🎬😭
Alright, we’re only a few hours away from the last episode of this sketch. What are they even going to say in this final episode?
Thirty minutes of removing Wooju’s custody from the ML and FL, only for them to get it back in the end—and that’s it, wrapped up. Happy ending, everyone smiles, a little kiss. It makes me laugh more than anything else.
Anyway, I’ll stay around for another 1–2 days after it airs to chat here, and then this drama goes straight into the forgotten pile.
Am I the only one who doesn’t feel that chemistry between the ML and FL anymore compared to the first episodes? Damn, I don’t feel anything now—just want it to end already so we can move on to something else.
After 13 excellent episodes, can we talk about Yu Qian Qian’s role? Her role can be confusing, but I don’t feel like she’s truly an ally of the FL. I see her more as someone in between. She’s neither good nor bad, but we can’t really consider her an ally—more like someone who takes advantage of the situation and the benefits it brings her.
What happened with this drama? The drama was originally supposed to be released in 2025, but now it's pushed to 2026. Why is there such a long gap between the confirmation of the actors (December 2, 2024) and the start of filming (May 2025)? Normally, everything—like the set design—should be ready before the casting announcement. Here, it seems like the cast was announced before that, and they had only five months to prepare the filming set.
I see a lot of comments saying that the ML doesn't act well, but you’re completely crazy, Wi Ha Joon plays his role perfectly. Yes, PMY is better here, but she doesn’t overshadow him, he has his part, and their scenes together are just amazing. The tension, the chemistry they have. I’m just waiting for the moment when they’re going to kiss, probably episode 6. When you know Wi Ha Joon and his kisses or PMY’s kissing scenes 💀💀💀
I see a lot of people here saying that this drama could have been ‘The drama of the year without the SML,’ but no way—even without the SML. There are too many things that would make this drama, at best, a top 20 drama in 2026, no more.
I’m not very familiar with actor Ko Kyung Pyo either, but I totally get what you mean! It’s really sad to see him play more of a secondary male lead (SML) in this role, especially when he's known for his comedic timing and charm in real life. It would’ve been amazing if they’d let him show more of his humor in this drama. I read in an interview that he mentioned how this was the one project where he wasn’t able to practice his usual humor. That’s such a missed opportunity because he has such a natural comedic presence!
The scam of the century, and once again MD talking nonsense. Kim Jung Hyun isn’t even a lead here. In 4 episodes he appears on screen for maybe 5–7 minutes at most.
**End of episode 12:** I was wondering when Yan Zheng was going to meet Qimin, and it looks like it’s about to get intense. Damn, this is going to be crazy — I’m starting episode 13.

- Hierarchy (2024)
- The Witch (2025)
- Crushology 101 (2025)
- Our Universe (2026)
The odd one out in this list is The Witch because it's the only one without a love triangle, but still, it's pretty weak overall.
Maybe we should look into this subject more clearly. I have absolutely nothing against the actress, and I’m sure she’s a wonderful person.
