We’ve made it—today marks the end of a truly beautiful journey, a magnificent drama that, for me, will define the year 2026. No matter the criticism, my rating was already set from the first two episodes, and nothing will change it. This drama is literally a 10/10 for me. In terms of acting, there isn’t a single weak performance—they all played their roles perfectly.

This drama is absolutely stunning, and it will surely be in the top 10 of the best Chinese dramas.

Man, what a character Sui Yuanqing is—he never wavered from his convictions until the very end. The scene where he slits his own throat is just insane; his acting was a 10/10. He was so creepy at times—and to think the actor is only 20 years old 😀

I’ll come back here to discuss and give my opinion once the drama is over. Because with all these leaks, I have zero trust, and if I get spoiled, I don’t even know what crazy thing I might do lmao. By the way, how did it even leak? Has that ever been common with C-dramas?

I just watched episode 30, and honestly the drama is mainly centered around Fan Changyu — everything revolves around her. How come she gets all the biggest fights? She kills Changxin’s arm and now him too. What’s even the point of Yan Zheng? He has zero fights, and I didn’t really like that. Also, how easily she defeats them is kind of crazy. Just a simple move, and with only 2–3 pieces of advice from her father, that’s enough? I’m not criticizing the drama, maybe it’s just the only flaw for me, but it’s still a 10/10 overall.

I feel the same as you—I dropped it at the 12th episode, but honestly I had already kind of given up before that. I just can’t stick with it anymore. I really loved the episodes in the village, but now everything feels too easy for them.
