I don't understand a single thing about this synopsis, I’ve reread it 10 times and all I get is that TXW plays two roles: Wei Rao and A Chou, but there's also Jun Dai. Who on earth is Jun Dai? If I understand correctly, Wei Rao is married or about to marry Luo Zhou, but it's A Chou who is going to wake up? I don't get it at all.

Ok ok, I’ve read roughly how the drama is likely to unfold, but everything seems to suggest that Tao Ziyi will be around for quite a while, since she’s going to ally with Jiang Xueting after the time skip and they will become the ML/FL's enemies. There will also be the marriage between the ML/FL, but that's not a surprise.

So the 40 episodes are confirmed, it's no longer 38. Actually, all the better, it lets me appreciate the beauty of Xu Ruohan for longer. On the other hand, it probably hints that we'll get a time skip here, I think, and that a lot of the actors we see at the beginning won't be around anymore at a certain point. I'm thinking of the likes of Pingjun's mother, probably Changxuan's father, and others

Alright, so we got two kisses in four episodes—even if the first one wasn't really a real kiss—but it conveys absolutely zero emotion, I'm sorry. They feel so forced by the FL, but at least the ML doesn't push her away or just stand there frozen like a dead fish. You can clearly see the ML is pretty shy; he even says so himself in the episode.

Well, there's a lot to say about this 4th episode. Honestly, the more the episodes go on, the less I understand the characters. Yujin is really unlikable at times, and we can't say much good about Min Jae either. I didn't really enjoy this episode, though I do like that, for once, we don’t have the male lead hounding the female lead just to make her fall for him—I like that the romantic interest comes from the FL for a change.
On top of that, Yujin's brother is aggressively unlikable, the professor seems really weird, and there are basically no nice characters here aside from the parents. Everyone else is pretty terrible, with a special shoutout to Sejin, who is a completely terrible person.
That said, the drama definitely has about 5 to 10 minutes too many; 1 hour and 13 minutes is way too long for a weekday drama like this.

People are probably going to disagree with me, but I absolutely hate the laboratory part of the drama with the other students; I find it so boring. On the other hand, I love every single interaction between the ML/FL or the FL's family. The lab part bores me to death.

Honestly, the drama should have waited until episode 6 or 7 before she found out about his leg, which would have made the scene way more emotional—like seeing her in tears and feeling terrible for him. I didn't find the scene genuinely touching at all, and it felt disrespectful when she just walked away. In real life, if you truly love someone and find out they are missing a body part, you're automatically going to cry. It's just instinctive.

The other guy at the lab who started at the same time as Yu Jin is so annoying, I just want to slap him in the face.
