I just can't get into the first couple, Yi Jae and Soo Bin. They get completely overshadowed by the few scenes we get of the second couple. In Yeop always has the exact same facial expressions—I swear, watch any of his dramas and you'll see that same look over and over again. He also comes across as kind of unnatural on screen, unlike Hyeri, who feels much more natural. I don't have anything against him, but he really has that overly done, "too much cosmetic work" kind of face.
The actor who plays Li Bo Ze was born in 2002, but how do both he and He Qiu look so much older here? Damn, I'm shocked. I honestly thought he was at least 27 or 28. Finding out he's a 2002 baby is crazy. I was born in 2000, and I feel like I look 12 next to him. 😂😂
I don't understand why would Jo Hye Joo take on a role like Ha ri. This character is just plain stupid and a pain…
She takes these roles because she does not get many offers for dramas or main parts. She is with MAA Korea, an agency that pushes Go Yoon Jung and Roh Yoon Seo instead. She also cannot carry a lead role by herself yet, which is common for many actresses. From what I have seen, her acting never felt like pure genius or stood out much. Taking supporting roles in big dramas with famous actors helps her gain public attention, especially when they air on major TV networks like SBS.
Monday-Tuesday drama slots hurt K-drama legendary status, with Twinkling Watermelon in 2023 as the last truly great one, followed by mostly bad or average shows regardless of the cast.
Li Bo Ze's visuals are absolutely insane. He's a total heartthrob and honestly steals the spotlight from Zhang Linghe. His looks are seriously unreal—and that's coming from a guy. 😆
Finally, a good romance drama — that’s such a nice change. We’d been stuck with so many average or disappointing dramas since “We Are All Trying Here” anyway. I love Yang Se Jong; I find him so funny in every role, and he’s an incredible actor.

In 2026, how many interesting/good romance dramas have we actually had so far? I can only think of maybe 3 or 4. *In Your Radiant Seasons*, *We Are All Trying Here* (not really a romance, but I’ll count it), *My Royal Nemesis*, and for now *Spooky Love*. That’s only 5… 😀
