Am I the only one who can't get past YM's annoying voice in this.. along with the constant "shi fu". Lol

You're not alone... I'm very sensitive to sound and her voice comes off whiny and scratchy that makes it hard for me to get into her character... Her voice is better in some episodes and worse in others. I had a hard time with her voice in episode 15.

It just cracks me up that this drama is supposed to be about Wang Xuan/ZZY but Xiao Qi/ZYW is totally stealing…

I totally agree with you... I'm personally shocked that Xiao Qi's character is keeping me interested in Rebel Princess. I was first attracted to this drama because of Zhang Zi Yi, but found her character and portrayal of it annoying and started losing interest. I also came in with the expectation of a pretty boy General ( common in C-dramaland), but the raw and rugged nature of Zhou Yi Wei reflected a more realistic portrayal of a battle worn general and thus captured more interest. I will stay b/c of him and his character arc.
