Agreed! I loved Wu Huan (Ancient Love Poetry) and did not fault her as the villain... she convinced me (via her acting prowess) on how she ended up the way she did and I was satisfied... not justifying her actions, but they were believeable to me given her situation/background and her personality. I did not find her an annoying villain but a well flushed out believable villain.

Ditto. Loved Ancient Love Poetry.... plot is really good and the story telling was thorough and made sense... though some may find it slow at times with the details in the unfolding of the story... I cried buckets in this drama.

Yes, Yes! Princess Agents - the FL (Chu Qiao) is my favorite female lead character in costume drama of all time... loved the book and the author's writing style - poetic. I shed many tears with the ending but found comfort by reading the book. First time shipping FL with both the ML and SML as I thought she could have been good with either one.... imo

Yes, I need me some angst, but wrapped in a HE (at least that's what I'm hoping for 🤞I feel like the producers won't give fans a BE b/c ratings would tank... and ratings is viewership translating to $$$. Just my opinion - so don't quote me on that.)

For the drama, they should have kept the drug/spell at preventing him from talking... He was proactive in kissing her so he clearly wanted it too. He was falling in love with her in the drama at this point, but the war and very high risk of his own death lead to the divorce as he thought that was best for her.

Were you trying to turn down Esther's voice? It was annoying yes - but once I understood her character (13 yo fairy) and was entrenched in the storyline I wasn't bothered. I think Dylan's dubbed voice helped create his character so I enjoyed listening to him talk.

Good thing you know how to read Chinese! Thank You! So is TTJ going to turn more evil/dark in the next 2-3 episodes leading to tower? I feel like he's pretty toned down from episode 1 and so I can't see it... But, I hope the director did a good job in building up the tension and not water down the impact.

Yup, totally agree. LBFAD was very feel good and a much simpler storyline to follow. In TTEOTM, the ML is dark and somewhat twisted (albeit much toned down from novel version) .TTEOTM's multiple arcs and reincarnated characters with same actors makes the story complex and harder to follow if parts are skipped since clues are provided throughout... and necessary to fully understand the rationale behind the events and characters' behaviors.
