the 2 actresses did well to convey emotions when the sister came to prison to cut her hair... but it was out of nowhere... I think I might have understood the sister better if they had spend half the time they wasted on inmate's stories to her life and point of view.
regarding the conversation between the prison directer with fl... I again believe convincing her to forgive herself was the duty of her family... it was a nice gesture from the sister to visit her at salon but they need to talk properly.. it's good that he tried convincing her to give herself another chance.
It makes me angry how much fl wants to atone for her crime as if she stabbed some random innocent bystander! he was a cheater who used fl as a convenient substitute for his wife while he was working at their branch and wanted to cut ties when he was going back! he didn't even tell her when she got pregnant and ghosted her and his sigh of relief when she had miscarriage was disgusting!
I feel I was robbed of seeing fl alongside her family! all together... she ended up living with her mom and working as a hairdresser. At least it's good that she ended up being happy with her life.
As expected fl's ex was a peice of shit!! what do you mean she got 7 years in prison and he is back to his normal life??? he deserved to die... knowing this also makes me mad at her sister! the way she was mad I thought the victim was her bf... I know that her marriage ruined cause of her sister's crime but why she acts like a victim?? the mother also pampers her too much.. (even if fl asked her to take care of the sister doesn't mean she should abandon her like that) I hate fl's family.. I don't care what kind of redemption they pull later on, they are irredeemable for me! I know that they had a hard life as her family but still they acted like a child and only blamed fl without trying to talk to her properly.
the guy who is gonna marry the sister is such a good person! he tried to understand fl despite everything. he was even looking to get her out with parole! he questioned her decision (rightfully so), why tf she asked for 7 years???
the conversation between fl's sister and her bf was the kind of talk the mother should have had with her long ago but she chose to go the easy way and erase fl from their lives without trying to convince the sister to maybe understand fl??
The sound quality is trash... idk why it feels like they are talking into a void with 0 background... I don't need a background music but it's just too much silence like no other sound that it's bothering me.
These short dramas are killing it lately, I'm actually very invested in them. Any more recommendations please?
here are some of my favorites so far; Sinful Marriage, A Familiar Stranger, Secrets of the Shadow Sect, Song of the Dynasty, Thousands of Years of Love, Dramatic Self-Help Strategy.
Of course, in these dramas, the ML / FL, etc., passes out and the partner / other people assume that they are…
they could've used the time to make the ml's survival make sense instead of all the flashbacks!! it felt like even the writers couldn't find a way to explain it. like there is no way they saw it coming! ml was ready to die! fl didn't know in advance! the other guy left at the gate!
It was mostly interesting.. fl knew what she wanted to do and didn't waver...then the ending happened;
to be honest one of the reasons that I started watching was ml, but as much as I like the actor, his character should've died! there is no comeback from attacking the palace! I don't like sad endings but I hate forced happy endings. Also it took him too long to realize fl's identity!

looks like they made him survive... but to be honest other than death there shouldn't have been another outcome for him! they just gave us a lazily written forced happy ending.
fl doesn't look impulsive to kill someone on a whim so I'm curious to know the circumstances that led to her crime!
there are a few things that I didn't like in this episode; -I think Kagawa Misa (the hair dressing instructor at the prison) knowing fl's sister is too much of a stretch for connection! (in my opinion not everything has to be connected) -why does Sato Nozomi behave like that? her behavior is too childish for her age! how come she is there? (I don't remember if she mentioned her crime in previous episodes)

I liked it. Almost every episode was interesting that made me watch most of it with minimum skips.
