to be honest many of the drama main leads would be considered stalkers if they weren't main characters!
(considering the actual red flagness of HY, I agree! it would be criticized a lot more if he was let's say 2ml! but the whole story revolving around him as a main character does signal that what's going to go down in this drama isn't going to be an ideal love story)
It's like... what if the target of the stalker actually loved him back?!
(I've watched a similar scenario and it didn't make me believe that would work, but this one is doing it better )

I think there is still hope for that!
I mean the one scene of trailer that huayong in white outfit had blood on his neck. might be next episode.

fl is so good that it's amusing to watch her plot around every corner!
ml is interesting as well!

they were standing in the yard, Yu Yan brought fl's dad and then suddenly ml is in prison?? what happened??

Episode 15 was a bit odd!!

specially when he tried to guess Kosuke's order but he changed it to something new lol
the way he desperately tried to prove he knows what they were gonna order was the funniest scene with him for me!

Their family issues were resolved way too quickly and with a very shallow approach!

I was going to start that one as well but since I saw the comments were quite positive I'm waiting for it to end so I can binge it!

My point is not everyone takes words and phrases as their literal meaning!
personally I don't remember ever using the word masterpiece for any of the media I liked but that doesn't mean others must not do it!

let's say someone says this drama is a masterpiece!
why should one go after the individual to prove otherwise? the individual who stated that might have cared about the aspects of the show that impressed them! so much that to them it's a masterpiece!
So what if they are exaggerating?
does anyone's claim make a show a masterpiece?
does it matter if someone declines to treat one as a masterpiece although it has proven to be one by all technical standards?

I have come across many dramas and movies that all comments were singing praises calling it masterpiece but to me it was mediocre! I didn't see what they saw in those! yet I don't go after them just because they exaggerated their love for it!
I just stated my opinion was otherwise and left it at that!
one might want to engage and ask the specifics, they might as well do so!
everyone is free to comment after all!
but I don't agree with taking away words from fans of any show just because it's not adhering to technical/literal meaning of it.

A drama or movie can be called a masterpiece by its fans for variety of reasons..
none of us are film critics! our opinions are objective to our own taste!
It's just a compliment that's being used for many cases!

one show might be a masterpiece to me despite its flaws yet I might dislike a show which is deemed to be a masterpiece by critics and awards!

this is a literal waste of time!

Fl's plans yet again end up becoming a shit show!
So right when ml is going to lose his head, princess comes to argue a case with ml as the witness! what case? ml's mother!
(few episodes ago the ex wife of the good for nothing brother spilled the tea on her poisoning)

So turns out ml's mother was the powerful guy's crush! but married the general to keep her safe from the palace dramas!
Anyways ml's mother was poisoned to death and they told that guy that the good for nothing is her child... (they robbed ml his powerful backer)

So why did I say it ends up as a shit show??
after the good for nothing brother killed himself, the old lady (first madam whatever you call her) gets a knife on fl's throat...
Here we go again... fl needs someone to save her! (kicked the madam but still worked)
the uncle saved her, and ml continues to be useless...

And they got married by the end.
