I’ve been overwhelmed with modern day Kdramas & Cdramas lately that I’m still catching up. I saved this for when it wrapped so I can binge. I still need to watch Lost You Forever.
Dropped after 5 episodes. I wanted to like it so much but the characters are way too young, immature, impulsive and unrealistic.
The endless bullying and violence were nauseating. We get it. There are bad people. We don’t need to keep seeing scenes of them hurting others.
Also, maybe I missed something but this paid vigilante shit, wtf is that about? Such a good premise but utterly poor execution. The white haired girl was beaten not once but again after all that and even though she basically bought the ML to seek revenge on others, she didn’t avenge herself?
FL was running around trying to find answers but every time she’s given a “no,” she just gives up. Wtf?
I really enjoyed this series. I binged it in a few days. I rate it 10/10. HOWEVER..
There were a few plotholes and repetitions that could’ve been better executed. I’m not sure if it’s because the focus is more on the message vs the rationale.
1. I’m not sure why they don’t figure out how to minimize casualties by finding the physical weaknesses of the superhumans instead of just guns and fists. The thugs figured out they should drown Juwon while the top elite government assassins could not.
2. So Frank died? And no one is going to address the mess he made? Why did they suddenly jump to the North Koreans? What about the Americans? So they decided to just wait after their secret assassin died? Wtf?
3. The way they made the organizations seemed so untouchable only for both top dogs to be killed they way they did was comical. We gonna just stroll in and pew pew pew? That’s it?!
4. I thought they didn’t need to focus so much on the kids. I found the parents to be more interesting. I didn’t care much about the kids and their teenage foes.
5. I wanted a reunion between Doosik and his partner Ju Won. I wanted them to eat at each other’s restaurants and laugh. That would’ve been a better ending.
Overall, it felt incomplete. Excellent series but I want more.
1. Happy ending?
2. Any love triangles?
3. Stupid misunderstandings? No communication?
4. Toxic second leads?
5. Multiple couples?
