Well that ending was sooooo heartbreaking 💔 so , Jang Hyun left (again) and gil Chae will marry that officer … or she’ll regret her descision and breaks off the edgagement and leaves to find Jang Hyun in part 2..who knows …??i mean its about time she also does some sacrifices for him… But by then he might be in relationship with that other Woman (acted By Chung Ah) 😭

Well its gonna be a torture until part 2, Im not surprised at ALL how it ended, i kinda expected it. Anyways , this drama is wonderful for sure …. What is most torturous (for me at least) is that its uncertain if gil Chae married the officer of not. . I’m trying to expect the worst, that by ep 1 of part 2 shes married to him , so that it Will hurt less for me… or who the f*ck am i kidding!? It Will hurt just as much anyways 💔😭

I’m a hopeless romantic at heart (very naive) so I was so angry at Gil Chae yesterday , but when getting to watch ep 9 today , i now fully understand her even tho its so heartbreaking… she will most likely marry that officer and i wont hate her for it even tho it Will break my heart. She has really matured and is so strong! But, one thing i dont understand … if she marries the officer, how is she gonna mantain a relationship with Jang Hyun ? I dont see her commit adultery, because Why else marry the officer in the first place then ?? Is she just gonna stare with longing eyes after Jang Hyun from afar in part 2 for like 10 episodes? Naah sounds unlikely to me too.. maybe her husband will die. Ooh i have absolutely No idea, this drama is not predictable at all!

The way you say it make it hurt less if Gil Chae does marry that officer …i mean ofc it still will hurt a lot, but a little less… because as you said; No matter what their longing and desire for each other will only increase…damn such a tragically epic love story ❤️

But maybe its also a dream ? :(

Yesterday I was losing my mind , i was like ’if gil Chae doesn’t accept Jang Hyun’s offer and marries that other dude its like shes betraying Jang Hyun (because of everything he done for her) so i will drop this drama’ . But after watching ep 9 i calmed down … now i understand gil Chae, i wont drop this even if she marries someone else (which i hope ofc she won’t!!) if she marries that other guy, will she cheat on him with Jang Hyun? If she does that ,then i dont understand Why she married him in first place if she’s not gonna be faithful .. hmmm …this drama is anything but predictable haha ~ i love this so much!

Ok I watched ep 9 now. And now I totally understand Gil Chae, I’m not mad at her at all … its Been 3 years i guess and the only way for her to support herself and her family is to get married. Jang Hyun will always have a special place in her heart but she has to move on … she has really matured. And I dont think she Will accept Jang Hyun’s offer to marry him / run away with him , because she’s now the head of the family , she has to put them first! But I still hope ofc she wont marry that dude , that somehow it wont happen … please noooo! 😭😭😭

Who knows…maybe she won’t follow her heart … she might not break off the edgagement even tho she really wants to, because if she Do that it would ruin her reputation , maybe her family’s reputation as well…

True, i’m trying to think like that too…I have calmed down a bit (I’m not as frustrated with her anymore) … it was different times.

Its hard for me to believe Gil Chae will marry that other dude, either she Will break off the edgagement or he Will die on their wedding day …

I’m trying to be positive … trying to think that this is set in 1600s, back then when romantic love was not the most important thing …honor, reputation was more important . So, I’m trying to understand Gil Chae … but then again, she was willing to be with a taken man thus betray her best friend 😅

I’m scared Gil Chae will marry that dude. And then what?? She Will cheat on him with Jang Hyun? Then Why in that case marry that dude in the first place? Makes No sense at all for me! Or she stays faithful and then the dude dies , and THEN she gets back together with Jang Hyun …? But they could never get married , because Joseon women were never allowed to remarry…

Or (which I hope, like everyone else) she wont marry that dude☺️

I’m confused af, like the person wrote , Gil Chae’s hair is not tied to bun yet (all married women in Joseon had to have their hair tied to a bun ) , maybe she and GuWonmu are just engaged , but for him they are basically ”married” , in his mind. Agghhh Idk anymore!

If Gil Chae won’t say yes to Jang Hyun and she Will instead marry that other guy, then i will drop this drama, i can’t take too much pain haha + it would be like Gil Chae betrayed Jang Hyun who done SO much for her! In part 2 I want Gil Chae to be more active in their relationship , for her to show how much she loves him.

Maybe ur right …,but seems like she turned down the horse guy, but horse guy said ”he’s dead” and maybe that made Gil Chae change her mind and decided to marry horse guy … its very sad :(
