So I guess physical punishment at school is still allowed in south korea, but is it really allowed to hit students over and over again hard ? Like the teacher did. If it is then its too f*ked up. The other teachers barely tried to stop him, disturbing
Wait when I Search this drama on Google , only 55% likes this drama wtf !? Usually around 85-98% likes , but this drama only 55%… is this drama really that bad or is it actually good?? This drama is btw soooo underrated, only 9 reviews here!
This looks waaay too painful , saw some scenes and it made me cry 😭 i can’t watch this, my weak heart can’t take this :( have to skip this drama even if its a great drama. Why is she being treqted so badly by everyone ? :( Why No one trying to protect her?? :(
Edit : looks like its ok for teachers to abuse students in Korea, no one really tried to stop the crazy teacher for hitting her hard over and over again, its crazy
Screenwriter who also wrote the historical drama Rebel: Thief Who Stole The People, that one is soooo good! So I have high hopes for this drama ^^ also will air on MBC channel, which is (if I’m not wrong) the best channel for ’proper’ historical dramas!
I wanted to watch the original but omg it released even before I was born....
Give it still a try I suggest, the quality is not that bad. If you love romance then this is perfect as its pure romance. It has a mature tone to it and the romance is very passionate (lots of skinship), chemistry is amazing, acting is great especially by the ML, you really believe he is deaf. Honestly most romance 90s / early 2000s jdramas are way better than the newer ones, at least for me… its called the ”Golden era”. Not saying all newer romance jdramas are bad, there are still some great ones…
I’d give the first 9 episodes of Aishiteiru to Ittekure 10/10 , but then the last 3 episodes kinda went downhill for me 😅 but the last 3 episodes might not bother you.
Can you recommend some such dramas then? If not watched a Taiwanese drama before. I’ve mostly watched k dramas…
Autumn’s Concerto, MARS, They Kiss Again (sequel to ’It Started With a Kiss’), Fated to Love You, Lost Romance, Before We Get Married, Bromance, Devil Beside You… and if you don’t mind BL; HIStory3: Trapped, We Best Love…
Finally a new Taiwanese drama! Can’t they start making more Taiwanese dramas like the used to in the past?? Love how progressive, controversional and steamy / sexy they can be… they are not afraid to go all out, because Taiwan is not too conservative unlike let’s say China…
When I saw Edward Chen is the ML, I was wondering why he looked so familiar… then I later realized , he is the same actor as in the famous LGBT movie Your Name Engraved Herein which I watched last week, it’s a really good deep movie… I thought Edward Chen was great in that movie, so I think he will do great in this drama as well :) well, off to watch the 2 firt episodes now !!
Oh? So does that mean a lot of shows don’t have actors using their real voice? I didn’t know that. Any reason…
As far as I understand it is because in tv, newsletters etc in whole china they need to use standard mandarin (that is mostly spoken in beijing and nearby places) , so if a actor /actress can’t speak standard mandarin ”properly ” (they speak with dialects or such ) they will be dubbed.
So IU is confirmed for this but not Park Bo Gum? I hope Park Bo Gum accepts because both he and IU are same age and they’re both highly respected actors in Korea , rightfully too so as they are great at acting. I think they would look like a match made in heaven in drama ^^ idk I just love when in kdramas actors are same age because they don’t have to be too formal and not use honorifics , since Korea is highly hierarcy country that takes importance to the age system where younger needs to respect the older.,heck I even heard koreans can’t be true friends if there is just one 1 year age difference. Sorry I got maybe off topic now xD
