Cool can you recommend something that has a ML like that? i think ”the Princess’ man” has the most angsty torturious hero I watched in drama so far, he didn’t start out like that, it wasn’t until later and gosh it was so hot lol
I think vicgrayi knows that :) she/ he wrote that Mirror Twin Cities will according to some rumors air on Jan 12 or 16 , so will be No competition between those 2 dramas
I don’t think Song Hye Kyo is that horrible of an actress. She is definitely not one of the best ones there, but I think her problem is when it comes to the acting is that she is too scared to show too much feelings / emotions on her face because it will make her look older ,if she for exemple smiles brightly her wrinkles will be shown more, etc. In full house (2004) she Did great potraying all kind of emotions , when she smiled laughted cried was being silly etc it came of as natural …as she was much younger , she didnt need to fear about looking old
I’m No SHK fan, not trying defend her …i don’t like this drama, i find the love story stupid and that they let their parents control so much their own lives i find even more stupid . Havent watched last ep but if they break up in the end I won’t be feeling the slightest sad. Couldnt care less about their ”love story” (coming from a huge romance junkie) , never once made me believe they truly love each other :/
Even ”Encounter ” with Song Hye Kyo is much better than this.
I'm scared that even if this drama is good, it will still have low rating because of the controversy/ how many people tried to cancel this drama ... Even tho the director / writer made it clear that this drama has nothing to do with about what happened '87 (the protests, etc) so many people still seem so negative and will refuse to watch this... :/
Anyways meanwhile I'm waiting for ep 1, I will watch Bridal Mask (another drama from the same screenwriter), looks really interesting.
Barely made on the end of episode 3 and I'm dropping this. I usually enjoy historical drama but I guess this one…
Thank you SO much :) I will definitely look up those.. especially The Red Sleeve and Mr. Sunshine! Nirvana in Fire I only heard great things about :) I will watch it when I’m in mood for something more politics heavy~
The best historical k-drama of the year. I was way more excited for River Where the Moon Rises and Lovers of the Red Sky ,I wasn’t that excited for this one tbh (I mean I was a little interested but not like ”Omg I need to watch this!!”) both WTMR and LOTR ended up dissapointing me, and this one (which was unexpected) I enjoyed a LOT more! If this drama doesn’t screw up it will become one of my alltime favorite dramas
I like how Yi San is more on the traditional/old fashioned side, because this story takes place in 1700s. So many historical k-dramas has the ML acting as if he was from 21th century, but not in this drama :) so while I don’t agree with Yi San about everything I understand that back in the old day people had different mindset. Like, I totally believe that for exemple me and my great grandmother (my father’s grandmother) have totally different mindset from each other xD after all she was born 1912 lol (ofc she’s dead)
I suck at ratings. I know this one has gotten rating of 10.5 % , I know it’s not low rating , that much I know.. but is the rating very high? Meaning if the rating doesn’t decline, this will be a hit??

The love story , angst , depth - everything simply perfection!!
